Services
Growing up in Milton, Ontario and living here since 1975, I have learned that Milton has a very strong sense of family and community. I started dancing at a local dance studio in Milton at the age of 10. My love for dance grew stronger as I got older and I knew I had to spread the love of dance to as many people as I possibly could.
Here you will find access to any news, events, class schedules and studio closures. Please check back regularly for updated information. Students not properly attired may observe, but will not be allowed to participate in class. Hair must be in a proper bun, with hair net and bobby pins. Pink Ballet shoes are to be worn.
The Dance Shoppe offers classes from pre-school up to adult. Our programs enhance rhythm skills, coordination, musicality, self esteem, and the love of dance! Classes are offered during weeknights and Saturdays for your convenience. Pre-school dancers, age 2 years are enrolled into our creative dance program.
Our Competitive program is designed for dancers who wish to pursue an advanced level of training. The program is divided into teams. The dancers are placed on a team according to technique, level and age. Competitive dancers represent the studio at different competitions though out the year, as well as at many community events and all Dance Shoppe functions.
Join a summer dance class in Milton! This summer dance program runs on Thursday evenings for 8 weeks. A great introductory course for children interested in movement and dance, with no experience necessary. Classes offered in Acro, Ballet, Creative Dance, Hip Hop, Jazz and Tap. My daughter has danced at this wonderful family studio since she was 4, I can not say enough about how much all of her teachers have influenced her to become the strong, confident and beautiful dancer she is today. They say they are a family dance Shoppe but really you are nobody to them. I've had my girls there with 14 years in between girls and the difference how we were treated is astounding. Before, there was always a hello from the owner and parents talked with each other and it was wonderful. Now, the owner and the people behind the desk have not said hello to me once, we are ignored by other families and it's simply not a family dance shtudio anymore sorry. Just a plain old impersonal place to learn to dance.

Beautiful, clean dance studio with caring, experienced and organized staff who go the extra mile to make sure that all dancers have a chance to shine! Our kids have danced both in their recreation and competitive programs, and thoroughly enjoyed the classes. As parents, we love the friendly & fun atmosphere and know our kids are in the absolute best hands to support their dancing goals.

2 of my daughters dance at TDS, one is in the full time competitive program and the other takes recreational classes. Both very different girls who were able to find a program that is right for them.
My younger daughter (the recreational dancer) was able to learn new skills while still being her free willed self and not getting overwhelmed with the time commitment of a competitive program.
We moved to Milton last year and TDS was a saving grace for my older daughter (the full time dancer). While she struggled a bit to find her place at a new school, her dance family at TDS welcomed her with open

My daughter absolutely loves dancing here! We feel like a family the moment we walk through that door.
