Kids Come First is committed to ensure that all activities and programs promote the health, safety, nutrition and well-being of all the children. Strengthen and develop the child's learning potential and skills by fostering their exploration, play and inquiry of the world around them;. Value the practice of continuous professional learning, questioning and reflective/critical thinking.
The Board of Directors is in charge with the responsibility of making decisions in the best interest of all the children. It is a governing body that develops policies, makes informed decisions and maintains an overview of the Child care Programs and the Before & After School Programs. The Board of Directors monitors incoming and outgoing monies and ensures proper allocation of those funds for all programs.
We have a complement of qualified Early Childhood Educators and educational assistants. Our teachers are trained in facilitating children's learning through their individual needs by providing developmentally appropriate activities and projects that focus on opportunities for learning through educational programs, literature and exploration of play.
Kids Come First is a professional not-for-profit organization providing exceptional care to children 18 months to 12 years of age. Kids Come First will provide potential employees with the best opportunity to work in a high quality child care and early learning environment. Positions include Full time, part time, casual and supply.
When a space is offered and accepted, a fee of $185.00 will immediately be required per child. Parents are responsible for payment of fees during this four (4) week period and the deposit will be returned in the form of a cheque at the end of the four weeks of notice. With appropriate notice the unused portion of the prepaid monthly fee will be refunded by cheque on a pro-rated basis.
