Founded in 1939 by Charles Cornell, TECH pioneered a cold vulcanization process in the U.S. that repaired tires without heat, revolutionizing the tire industry. Today, TECH produces a full range of tire repair materials including radial and bias repair units, plug-patch combination repairs, inserts, RFID tags, vulcanizing cements and related chemicals, uncured cushion gum, and extruded rubber.
We specialize in the design and permanent adhesion of custom rubber cradles and dock stations for smart tire sensors, TPMS and RFID tags. The race is on. Tire manufacturers, technology companies and vehicle makers around the globe are competing to win when it comes to smart tire and tire identification technology.
A key to proper tire repair goes beyond having high quality TECH tire repair products. Equally important is the knowledge and skill to perform a proper tire repair. TECH as the global tire & wheel authority created TECH University in 1970 for the express purpose of providing training and certifications for all types of tire repairs.
At TECH University we Teach Each Customer How to use our products and properly repair passenger, light truck, truck and OTR tires. TECH has a complete library of tire and wheel repair training videos available online. We normally charge a $50, annual subscription for you to train all of your service technicians.
Teach all of the technicians in your shop or the students in your automotive vocational classes with one subscription. One, easy-to-use administration portal allows you to assign courses, manage users, print certificates, and more. Throughout the training, TECH's vibrant spokesperson Izzy delivers quick, engaging training modules to facilitate easy learning.

We purchased tire supplies in November 2020. Our credit card was never charged. I called and emailed them about it numerous times for the past 4 months. No one will contact me back-Judy, Ashley and Claudia and other employees. I don't want this single purchase to end up in collections with garnishment or liens. Why would a company not want to be paid?

I started selling Tech Tire Repairs in 1980 and with the great training provided at the factory, I helped many customers save thousands of tires that would have otherwise been sent to junk yard. People do not realize that it takes several gallons of oil to make a tire, and putting tires back on road with a quality tire repair like TECH will provide maximum life to a tire. I am blessed to have been associated with Tech.
