Our mission is to alleviate the discomfort in your feet, ankles, knees, hips, and lower back that has developed due to your foot structure and/or poor alignment. When you choose On The Move Orthotics for your custom orthotic devices, a comprehensive assessment and casting of your feet are completed in the comfort of your home. The devices are fabricated in our own orthotic laboratory, and delivered to you within 1-2 weeks. When your orthotic devices are delivered, we will ensure that they fit properly, both to your feet and into the shoes you intend to wear them in.

Services
On The Move Orthotics is owned and operated by Amy Ellis, a Kinesiologist and Canadian Certified Pedorthist or C. Ped (C). Amy successfully completed her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and was introduced to Pedorthics during her co-op placement at the Fowler-Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic. This experience inspired Amy to obtain her Post Graduate Diploma in Pedorthics from the University of Western Ontario.
How might orthotics benefit you? Your feet are your body's foundation. If your foundation is unstable, excessive stress and tension can occur in other areas of the body. Tissues that are chronically overstressed and overworked will let you know it sooner or later! You might develop pain the heels, arches, forefoot, shins, knees, hips, or lower back, and often more than one area of the body will be affected.

Amy is very thorough at her profession. She is very detailed in her approach to making your orthitics. I have had orthotics for ten years and never had anyone put in the time to explain things or the effort to make them perfect.

I loved using 'On The Move Orthotics'. It was wonderful that Amy comes to my home for the appointments. She is very attentive to details and goes beyond the call of duty! You could say she is a perfectionist and makes sure that you are completely satisfied. Her craftsmanship is impeccable and she makes high quality products. I highly recommend the services of On The Move Orthotics. Amy Ellis is caring yet professional and stands behind her product !! Her goal is to help you be more comfortable........and she goes above and beyond to reach this goal !! She personally makes the otrhotics and will alter them as needed. She is meticulous and isn't happy until her client is comfortable !!
