Established in 1900, this historic hotel located in the charming seaside fishing village of Victoria By The Sea on the Island's south shore now operates as a bed and breakfast. Guests may stay in one of our comfortably appointed queen rooms, or may choose a spacious one or two bedroom suite, all with private ensuite bathrooms and most with spectacular water views.
Amenities include colour cable tv, free wireless internet and overhead ceiling fans. And, of course, a full hot breakfast is served each morning in our dining room. Our little village is the perfect place from which to discover Prince Edward Island. Centrally located, we are only a half hour's drive from Charlottetown, Summerside or Cavendish.

We had a charming and relaxing experience. Richard and Wendy are wonderful and considerate hosts. The property is an authentic and historic home that is in the core of this Victorian village. The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and consulted of blueberry bread pudding with sausages and fresh fruit. I highly recommend the Orient and Victoria to those looking for a relaxing experience.

Highly recommended. I stayed here for 2 nights with my 11 year-old, to take part in a bike race. The proprietor kindly chose a perfect —spacious and comfortable — suite for us. He also locked our bikes away at night, which we appreciated. The hotel has an unspoilt old Maritime feel, which made us feel at home, and the home-made breakfasts were excellent. Victoria is a sweet little village, just know that it gets very busy on a summer evening!

A charming location such a nice spot close to the water and restaurants.
The owner is friendly, the room is a good size appointed with country charm. The rates were excellent and French toast and sausage for breakfast. I know I buried the lead yes French toast; yum.
This place is a real gem, looking forward to coming back again. So happy we discovered this little piece of PEI.

This is the best little B&B on the island. Richard and Wendy make you feel like family for the duration of your stay. The rooms are really cute and well kept. You're close to some amazing shops in Victoria by the Sea, and everyone is so friendly.
Staying at this place has definitely made this trip more enjoyable. If you're visiting PEI, I highly recommend staying at The Orient.
