Technician/Owner Kelly Hendricks worked for almost 20 years as an aircraft mechanic and inspector. After moving to the Coast, he saw a need for highly technical, professional appliance service and realized it was the perfect opportunity to start a new business - and career - that would keep him closer to home (and his beloved family) on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
He launched Pacific Appliance in 2010 after graduating with honours from the Kwantlen Polytechnic Appliance Service Program. Glass cooktops generally experience some wear, but be sure to quickly wipe up salt and sugar spills as these are particularly bad at causing scratches. Boil overs and spillage on gas cooktops can interfere with the spark ignition that lights the flame - it needs a clear electrical path - be sure to clean up spills quickly.

I recently got 2 error codes on my Samsung dishwasher. Kelly had installed my dishwasher 14 months ago and I was impressed with his installation and professionalism. I called Kelly to have a service call and he enquired about the issue. He suggested possible causes and solutions before he came out. I checked his suggestions and found that it was plugged where the drain hose meets the P trap under the sink. I cleaned the plugged area and that solved the problem. Very impressive. Thanks again.
