They managed to be on time but nowadays like recently they've been taking a long time to get onto Taxi when I placing an order for taxi online. Bc I usually use online taxi, and it was faster when I placed an order online before but recently it's been taking a long sweet time to know what they're coming or not. I know people are taking taxi such as elderly and some other people needs taxi but I had been waited hours before with my mother when I went out before.

Ordered a taxi to take my family of 4 out for dinner today. It was a very warm day but I did not expect to have ZERO air circulation in the van taxi that picked us up. On top of that, the driver did not seem to care that we (including 2 young children) felt like we were going to faint. There was no AC ventilation in the middle or back seats nor were the Windows accessible for us to open. We received zero acknowledgment from the driver from the moment he picked us up or during our entire uncomfortable drive. This is VERY concerning as this type of vehicle should not be used if it does not provide

I have never availed this service on my own for myself but I have always ordered for others who wanted to reach somewhere but couldn't as they lost their wallet or something. They were always able to send a cab in like 10-15 minutes. The day I will avail the service, I will post the reviews for the last star.

I was really impressed. Haven't been in a cab in years and wasn't especially fond of using one during the pandemic. The cab driver was well prepared with masks and sanitizer, friendly and waited for me to get in the door. It was late, my porch light was out and I greatly appreciated that. Thank you.

I must inform all persons on any government, like odsp, welfare etc.......
do not make driver mad the driver will file a report that you are de fraudulent and the government will open a case file from integrity unit. they will want all your personal information, way more then housing or hatch.
do not talk to them, because they know everything about you at burlington taxi, and will use that to report you. 14 is bad luck.

Great service from start to finish. When I called for a taxi, on a Saturday evening, the phone was answered immediately and the person taking my request was pleasant and professional. As promised, the taxi arrived within 10 minutes. The car was clean. The driver was courteous. I got to my destination in a timely fashion. The cost was reasonable and the payment machine had been prepared so there was no waiting for it to warm up.

Great drivers. Good dispatchers. Horribly unreliable. I don't know what has been going on for the past four months or so, but the service has been bad...and it's not due to the drivers or dispatchers...it's down to reliability. Today was terrible. I finished work (part-time) than had to do some grocery shopping. When I was done the cab was called. I was told it would be 20-30 minutes. Not thrilled, as I had many groceries, many perishable, but that wait time, as of late, is not unusual. One hour past. No cab. Called again. Told it would be 15minutes. Half an hour passed. No cab. Requested a handicap van for my grandfather for his appointment this morning. I received a call from Burlington taxi this morning saying they could no longer pick us up from the hospital and that there was nothing they could do. When I asked to be credited I was laughed and yelled at for not understand a "human error" even though the dispatch would have HAD to check on the computer to see if the time slot was free.. which it was at the time. Today I think is the last airport ride I will take to the airport with Burlington taxi. I like that I can call at the last minute but the service is very hit and miss. Today another disappointment. The driver arrives with his windows down and had to be asked to put on the air-conditioning (it is 35C with humidity). The traffic is very slow and he didn't seem aware of what he was driving into or alternate routes he could take. $85.00 plus tip for this service - not again. Sorry I try to support local but not when service is so bad I feel there is no real choice to go to the limo company

Sending out an APB on the Burlington Taxi Radio: GET MORE CARS!!! Over.
For real, after 'the bar' you simply cannot get a cab in Burlington. It's a well known fact. A CAA tow truck driver picked me up years ago in front of Joe Dog's. Lol
Last night at the Aldershot GO station I called for a car 11:50pm. Told me they'd be 15-20. They never showed.
At 12:30 I called 525 BLUE, and they picked me up in 10 min. People of Burlington: they can pick up here. Bye bye Burlington Taxi. Forever.

Burlington Taxi has a monopoly in Burlington having acquired Gem Taxi. They will not take a name when you order a cab so it's whoever can run fast enough and steal it that gets the cab. Drivers (3 so far) have operated the vehicle illegally and dangerously, on one occasion driving 100km/h on Upper Middle Road in a 60 zone. They run stop signs and drive erratically. On another occasion we strongly believed the driver had been drinking or was on drugs. But you have no other choice in Burlington as this is now the only taxi company. What a disgrace. I hope your drivers get pulled over and lose
