D. is the founder/president and lead audiologist at AudioSense, a Hearing and Balance clinic located in Yorkville, Toronto. Salima Jiwani is also an Adjunct Professor in the department of Speech-Language Pathology, Department of Rehabilitation at the University of Toronto and Clinical Instructor with the Distance Education program at Salus University.

What is also extremely unique about our clinic is that our soundproof booth is encased in a glass room, which, in addition to looking nice, makes it a pleasure to have your hearing tested in.We schedule our appointments with enough time to cover everything we need together and answer any questions you might have.

Regardless of what treatment options we recommend, and you choose, we make it a point to work with you and to work with your circle of care. Your circle of care includes any health care professionals that you consult with, whose treatment is dependent on your hearing. Your family doctor or your ear nose and throat specialist (a.k.a., ENT, Otolaryngologist, Otologist), for example, are some of those people.

I recently had a hearing assessment completed at AudioSense and wanted to share some thoughts on my positive experience. The Audiologist was both courteous & professional. She took great care in examining my ears prior to my hearing test, removing some ear wax and also explaining my test results. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I have no hesitation in highly recommending AudioSense !!!

My brother and I brought our almost 90 year old mother in for an appointment and we had the best experience. Salima was very professional and caring. She was very patient and she took the time to understand our concerns. She gave us different brands of hearing aid loaners for our mother to try, which made it easier for us to make the best decision for her. We highly recommend AudioSense for your hearing needs.

I took my father-in-law to AudioSense in 2020, and Dr Salima Jiwani and her staff provided absolutely first-class service, combining the best of professionalism and empathy. I subsequently returned for my own hearing test, with the same result.
In addition, every follow-up request I have made, eg for help with files, reports etc, has been met dealt with in record time and professional courtesy. Choosing AudioSense was a great decision which I have never regretted.

Salima Jiwani is incredible!! She took a call from my husband late on a Saturday night to advise him on next steps for his sudden hearing loss. She was full of helpful advice, and genuinely seemed to care about his well-being and the urgency that he receive treatment. Despite not being patient at Audiosense, she treated us with care and attentiveness, and even followed up a few days later to see if we had made any progress. I would highly recommend Audiosense, knowing that you will fall under her care. You will be in good hands!

Hitting 40 helps you realize how important all your senses are! Thankful to have found a great practitioner to take care of my hearing! We have since brought in my children and parents and Dr Jiwani made them all feel soooo comfortable! State of the art equipment, mixed with a great team and doctor! I would highly recommend this clinic!

This clinic is absolutely amazing! Salima is knowledgeable, caring and extremely patient. She takes the time to provide education as well as address any questions or concerns. Both my mom and grandma were anxious about going to a hearing clinic and they left feeling at ease and well cared for. I recommend this clinic to anyone looking to find a great audiologist.

Salima and I connected through a post online where I reached out needing help for my grandmother.
