Greater Victoria - the trading area of the Victoria Real Estate Board - is an area on southern Vancouver Island and the southern Gulf Islands. We divide the trading area into 5 regions, 15 districts (loosely based on municipal boundaries) and 170 map areas (or neighbourhoods). This map illustrates the five main regions: Core; Westshore; Peninsula; Islands; and Malahat.
The VREB district of Victoria, part of the Core region, covers the City of Victoria, excluding Victoria West, and is sub-divided into 13 neighbourhoods. Victoria, located on the Southern tip of Vancouver Island, is Western Canada's oldest city and the capital of British Columbia. As such, it is home to the provincial legislature.

Need rules changed that 24hr clause when you are selling to buy a home offer has been accepted..you list then someone comes along gets it from you. This is absolute BS and board needs change this as I'm seeking legal advise as offer accepted that should give you your condition to sell as said agreement! This happens far too often but a good realtor will ensure his client doesn't go through this!!!

My husband and I wanted to send in a review about a life event that we thought was going to be a very sad, stressful situation but in fact turned out to be one of the best experiences we have ever had. Feburary 29, 2016 my husband's mother went into a full care home in Victoria at the age of 96. We live up north in Vanderhoof BC which is a 15 hour drive away. In March we traveled to Victoria to sort out her condo. We worked two full weeks, long hours sorting and cleaning. Then exhausted and emotionally drained, returned home to our lives and work. April 29, 2016 we returned again to Victoria
