The Harlow is almost the same spec as the Bacall, but 1/2 of a softer foam is under the quilt. 1 of the 2/95 foam on top of the pocket coils and under the quilt. A lot of people choose this mattress after having a bad experience with a mattress that is one sided that looks like a wedding cake.
All of our mattresses are made locally right here in the Lower Mainland by Restwell Sleep Products in Surrey, BC. All of our coil mattresses are two-sided (flippable) so they last at least twice as long as no flip mattress. Ask us for more information. We're here to help!

Was in and out in less than 15min I don’t think I’ve ever bought a mattress that fast before. He knew what we’d like and showed us two perfect mattresses though my bf hated the one so we went with the first haha. No fuss, no muss, no upselling (though tbh I might have been convinced with an ergonomic now reading about it on their website depending on the price)
It delivers FAST too — everywhere else was quoting me Dec 29 or later (over 10 days) they’ll have mine in my house on Tuesday!

If you are looking for a hands-on, well-priced, old-fashioned and most of all, solidly honorable place to buy a mattress, then park between the potholes, climb the mountainous stairs, push open the 1980's rattly aluminum door, walk across ye olde wooden floor, surrounded by folksy wood-panelled walls and talk to Richard or Bob.
I was reluctant to enter the barn-like building that looked a tad aged. I'm embarrassed to say I had forgotten 'don't judge

A little over 2 years ago I purchased what was described to me as a $1500 "high-end" mattress from a well-known department store and within a year it was sagging in the middle and un-sleepable. I recently moved and decided that rather than bringing that mattress with me, I would just toss it and purchase a new one. I didn't know where to begin, I just knew I didn't want to go back to that particular department store. I wound up finding out about Mr. Mattress after seeing them deliver to my landlord last week. We bought our mattress from this classic Vancouver independent shop a year ago. I love it so much. If you like a firmer mattresses try their “Bennet” model. Best mattress I have ever owned. The place lives up to its “no bull” slogan. They don’t do the heavy handed sales of other chain stores. Just quality product.

This is probably my favourite *business* period--not just favourite mattress store. Bob, Tony, and Ethan were all wonderful and extremely helpful. I was never pressured into getting a specific mattress and Bob spent a great deal of time answering all my questions, while still giving me enough time to try out the mattresses until I found one for me. I also learned a great deal about "no flip" mattresses and the many problems they pose. I'm very grateful I went to Mr Mattress and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new mattress.

If you need a mattress, you'd be going about it wrong if you don't start here. Bob and his team are the most knowledgeable people I've ever spoken with when it comes to mattresses. No marketing BS. Just honest transparent information, amazing customer service, and a patient team that will not waste your time.
Plus, you will get a mattress that lasts a lot longer than most of those in the big chain retailers (as long as you take care of it too).

I whole-heartedly recommend a trip to Mr. Mattress to anyone shopping for a new bed. They are straight-forward, easy to deal with and don't play games. Prices are very reasonable and it's clear that they choose to only deal with top-quality products. I bought my new flipable (very comfortable) mattress from Mr. Mattress in December and I love it. The price was very good for a great quality product. The knowledgeable staff at Mr. Mattress will educate you about mattress value without being pushy at all. The delivery guys were punctual and very polite. Mr. Mattress made buying a new mattress a pleasant and excellent experience. Plus you are buying local and Canadian, which is a big bonus in my opinion.

Great experience! I waited way too long for a new mattress. Mine was in decent shape technically, but it was old. Mr. Mattress is a Vancouver gem! It is locally owned and operated, they supply their mattresses locally too! They're made in Surrey! They aren't kidding about the zero sales pressure. Bob gave me tons of time to try out a few different ones and never tried to upsell me. I actually went with the middle price one and I'm so excited. Plus they delivered and picked up my old mattress (for a nominal fee). Also they let you know how to get rid of your own mattress and how much it costs if

Couldn't be happier with our new mattress it is exactly what we were looking for and the price was right. We experienced great customer service from the owner Bob, who was very pleasant, and knowledgeable, we felt no pressure to buy. DON'T BUY this mattress it was mid-range here. Spent 1k for just the mattress and what a waste of money, within 2 months it is so soft and worn, all firmness is gone. Only buy the more expensive ones or go to another store and buy known brands. I will not repeat this mistake again. Stay away from buying mid range mattresses they are just that mid-range and you wont get your money's worth. Their most expensive pillows not the foam one but the normal pillows are crap also. After 6 months of use I had to replace them.

I have to say that I am happily amazed by this company. We bought our mattress here in mid 2015 and one side had started to sag in late 2019. Previous experience with other companies had shown that warranties and service did not appear to exist but even then our mattress from here was by far the best we had ever had. I phoned to get information… about buying a new one from "Mr. Mattress". During the conversation I mentioned we had one of their mattresses and the conversation immediately turned to "we'll have someone come out to look at it". No fancy showroom here (the cost of which is passed on to the consumer) and no pushy sales people. Go in, take all the time you need, these people can give great detail about the products they sell. Locally owned and operated and their mattresses are manufactured locally too. Very happy with experience from beginning to end, including delivery of new / removal of old mattress.

I love that these mattresses are made locally. They're high quality, and your dollars are actually paying for that quality and local manufacturing. You're not paying for the marketing machinery of an international brand.
The folks at Mr. Mattress were very helpful and friendly. They were even able to accommodate my request for same day delivery (I live pretty close to the store). We've had the new set for about three weeks and so far so good.
Very happy with my experience at Mr. Mattress. I recommend them and will be a returning customer.

After being severely disappointed with my purchases from Sleep Country, I decided to give this place a try based on the feedback from other customers... and I'm so glad I did!
Now as other reviewers have mentioned, you do need to look past the fact that the store itself is not impressive (c'mon guys, at least change those rugs!). Still, what the place lacks in decor it makes up for in sheer quality of the products on offer and outstanding service (same day delivery!). You won't be steered

I went there to get my first mattress since I married. They are very forthcoming with their products characteristics, and I also like that they have no sales or anything like that. Really keeps the pressure off. The delivery occurred as scheduled... No complaints here.
The mattress is 6 months old now and I can say that I am really satisfied. It is probably the best mattress I ever had. I love the double sided mattress and I really appreciate the service.

I am all about supporting local business over corporations but I need a quality product. Sales staff are nice enough. My problem is with the product itself. Firm king size matt and box. $1700+ cash. Girlfriend and i wake up with aching sore backs everyday..(if i can fall asleep). She never had back pain prior. 11 months later.....there are giant… dips in the mattress where we sleep. It just let go and stopped being supportive whatsoever. THERE IS NO WARRANTY HERE!!! So 11 months later i went to sleep country and paid $1150 for a king size simmons beautyrest. Guess what? My boyfriend and I decided it was time to upgrade our sagging sad sack of a mattress. Since he loves to do online research, we eventually came across Mr. Mattress with all its positive reviews. We live in the area so we took a stroll down to the showroom. Yes, as everyone says, the place is not fancy to look at, but come on, you're there for the mattresses, right? The husband and I decided it was time to ditch the futon for something less pain causing. It was the best decision we've made since the first time we banged on that futon. But now we are old and we just want a good nights sleep.
The guys at Mr. Mattress asked what we were looking for and showed us a couple of options within our price range. We picked out our new mattress and they delivered it the same day. The same day.
The husband isn't waking up feeling as if he had a stroke in his sleep anymore.
