I love the mask I bought at dream design so much! The fabric is wonderful, there's lots of room inside the mask to breathe, the adjustable straps are excellent, their service is incredible. I highly recommend buying masks from dream design. I love everything this store has to offer. I have been buying from this store for over 15yrs and frequently visited the Commercial drive location.

Our story began in 1981. While the world boogied to disco music in polyester, twenty-something Irma McInnis moved from Prince Edward Island and opened Dream Futon (which would later become Dream Designs) on Commercial Drive, a bohemian neighbourhood in Vancouver, Canada. She worked tenaciously to realize her dream: designing, crafting, and selling items made with natural textiles.
Unlike online giants and mass producers, we are a small independent business operated by 8 dedicated people, and most of our products are freshly made in small batches. Orders typically ship out within 3 business days and may take 2 to 6 business days to be delivered to your address. We will contact you by email should there be any delays.
Our organic cotton bed linens are designed and manufactured in Vancouver, BC, on the west coast of Canada. Founded in 1981, Dream Designs is the only established brand of organic cotton bed linens that's manufactured in North America. We source premium certified organic cotton worldwide and stock the fabrics in large bolts at our production warehouse in Vancouver.

We've been buying from Dream Designs for years - all our bedding, towels, shower curtain, accessories - even fabric by the meter when they had that as an option, and our masks for the pandemic - all have been long-lasting and worthwhile investments in our health and well-being, enhancing our lives.
It finally came time to replace our latex mattress, and we are very happy we stayed true. We love our new La Luna 6 with its modular concept. It's easy to move the 4 pieces around (as latex mattresses are very heavy and unwieldy if all one piece) and you can choose what degree of support suits both

These people are a local manufacturer and are doing great work with their futons. The showroom is a bit small but the presentation is very good considering the restricted space. Their prices are more on the expensive side but considering the amount of work and the quality of the materials this is probably ok. Delivery times were not bad. The sales lady is very accommodating. Sometimes there’s not a lot of parking nearby the front door but you may be able to find a spot free at the back of their location.

Very weird set up for order pick up. Front entrance is easy to find, but must pick up at rear of building. When I arrived to pick up, it was dark, no windows, no lights, just a creepy back entrance to the building. Does not feel like a safe place to pick things up. I'm a big guy and still found it intimidating, I'm glad I went instead of my wife.

Update: Their buckwheat pillow saved me from tossing at night. And the wool pillow lives up to the hype! It has the perfect loft for side or back sleeping. Great to know that I’m not breathing in chemicals from polyester or industrial foam fill at night. Can’t wait to try the natural shower curtains next! It’s so worth the investment to buy less things that last longer.

The latest mask design with the wire nose piece is of excellent quality! I’ve purchased several masks from other places and none fit as well as your design. I wish I had elastic, rather then the ties. Maybe I messed up when I ordered? The initial masks I ordered were wonderful. They were your first masks. The second shipment not so much… because of the ties and no nose wire. Thank you for listening to your customers! This latest version with the wire is definitely a fantastic fit! I recommend that people order with the wire if you want a superb user friendly mask. Thanks again!

Dream Designs is one of my favourite stores. I love all of their amazing quality and well-designed products. Every year I save up some money to get something from this store. All my bedding, duvet, pillows, etc. are from them and they improve the quality of my sleep and my life. I also have my meditation cushion set and more from them. I am grateful for this local store that cares about the environment, quality, and their customers.

I've been buying mattresses and bedding from Dream Designs for over 10 years for myself and now for my kids. The quality is great and they last for a long time. These are the only mattresses I've really loved and are totally worth the investment. I really appreciate going to a storefront and seeing/testing the quality rather than ordering this kind of thing online and that the products are locally made.

I was very disappointed with the towels. I have washed and dried them 11 times to get rid of the fluff that comes off them. Last weekend I even vacuumed the towels. All of this to no avail. Small pieces of… fluff still comes off. To the point it's all over my skin/bathtub/sink/bathroom floor even the grate of the ceiling fan. I reverted to my old towels.
