Envy Eyewear Boutique: Bringing Fun & Funky Eyewear to The Beaches Community for Over a Decade. In 2007, Envy Eyewear opened up with one goal: bring exceptionally fashionable eyewear to the beaches. We quickly became a community favourite, winning The Beaches and Riverdale's readers choice award for "best optical store" our very first year.
Regular eye exams are an important part of staying happy and healthy. As you age, your eyes change, becoming more vulnerable to disease and sight-impacting conditions. By getting an eye exam every one or two years, you're taking a proactive step towards good eye health. If above is not applicable, Envy will credit the cost of the eye exam ($85), towards a purchase of a frame and Rx lenses at regular price!
The best learning experiences stimulate all five senses. But of those five senses, vision, may be the most important one for education. Did you know that around 80% of the learning materials kids encounter in school are presented visually? Not only that, but a child's eyesight can impact basic but fundamental skills like walking or talking.
It's no secret that vision changes as you age. But did you know that your eyes actually change structure as you get older? Although these changes are, for the most part, normal, they can have a significant impact on your eyesight and the way you see the world. Regular eye exams can help us not only track structural changes our senior patients' eyes are going through, but mitigate any issues the structural changes could cause.
Your eyes are like your fingerprints: totally unique. Every eye has its own specific needs and requirements. The good news is that this is one of the things that makes you an individual. The bad news is that it can make finding the right pair of contact lenses tricky (if not almost impossible). The first step in finding the right contact lenses for you is to examine your eyes.

I live in The Beach area of Toronto, and Envy Eyewear Boutique is very close to where I live. I’ve been getting prescriptions filled there for many years and thought it was time to express my appreciation. Yasmin, the owner, is super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Collecting cool frames is somewhat of a hobby, and I’ve placed some technically challenging orders involving custom tints. On the rare occasion when I’ve had a problem with an order, Yasmin has always made sure the issue is corrected. She is genuinely passionate about her work, and it’s evident in everything she does.

If you’re going to buy glasses and you live anywhere near the Beach, this is the place. The team here took amazing care of me - and really, really took the time to make sure my glasses were fitted properly (something other mass chain stores or even optometrist offices don’t do even nearly as well). Highly, highly recommended.

This is a very clean, well maintained and appointed store. I came in with a question and very little knowledge regarding what I required. A cheerful employee answered my questions and told me the issue with my sunglasses (purchased elsewhere) could be fixed free of charge. I brought the pair in on another day and met the owner who was happy to oblige. After a few minutes she was able to adjust them to fit correctly as well as comfortably. The floor layout is spacious and it's well lit so overall a comfortable place to shop and browse with no hassle if you just want to take a look at what they have

Went to this location today ( oct 31st,2020) as it’s the closest optical to my house. No customers were in the store so I walked in. I had on my mask , and walked to the back to the back of the store where two women were sitting behind the plastic protective shield. Both women working stopped what they were doing , and looked up at me like I had “… 5 heads”!!!!! Full eye contact and not a single greeting from either !! After an uncomfortable pause I had to say “ helllooooooo“ as they both continued to stare at me. !
