Gary did a fantastic job hooking me up with shoes, aligning my cleats and cutting my bars down for me. This store had everything I needed.

Miles was absolutely amazing! I lost my B-tension screw out on the trails and I thought that was the end of my weekend of riding. Despite the fact that the hole had been totally rounded out, Miles took the time to source something that would work. He then recalibrated my gears for me and sent me on my way. All the staff where incredibly helpful and professional, cannot recommend them enough!

While staying in Sechelt on my way to Gibsons I was going flat on my back tire and I was unable to remove my through axle with my Multi tool. I stopped in at Off the Edge and they fixed my tire while I ate breakfast at McDonald's (don't judge me) all for the low price of $20. If this bike shop was in my hometown, my favorite shop would have some competition.. Great work guys... Oops, I mean woman (sorry I don't remember your name).. Thanks so much👍👍

Great service and quick turnaround before a trip!
I’ve been going to OTE for years and bought my first bike nearly 10 years ago from Gary. Ron and the guys in the shop were able to get the bike in for an emergency brake bleed before a trip that I was leaving for in two days. Cheers!

Such a great shop! I was riding coast gravity park and snapped my break right off of my bike the first day. I called the shop and they fit me in last minute, even working while they were closed to get new brakes put on so I could ride the following day. Wonderful staff and service! :)

They were terrible. Worst bicycle shop experience I’ve ever had. Gary (the owner) asked me to bring my bike in at a specific time to have it looked at and when I brought it in he was not there. I was told he would be in shortly and look at it. Part way through the day I called and was told Gary was at the store looking for pieces for my bike. At… the end of the day I called a different person said that Gary hadn’t actually showed up at all today. When i asked what they recommend I dothey told me to come and get my bike.

As an employee in the cycling industry and a relatively new resident to the Coast, I am very pleased and appreciative of the consistent service I receive from Gary and the team at Off The Edge. They are very helpful, supportive, and always willing to assist. I highly recommend their shop and services!

Not going to write a long winded review, I rarely review but when I get five star service I think it deserves a shout out.
I am not the most technically minded guy, so going through the decision making process and ultimately buying a relatively expensive piece of equipment can sometimes be a stressful experience... But not at Off the Edge Bike Shop! The two most important things customers get from Gary are patience, and down-to-earth frank and honest advice. The whole experience made me feel comfortable and confident.

In my opinion there are two types of bike stores... the type that are a little elitist and look down upon anyone who doesn't share their knowledge of bikes and biking. The second is the shop that is just happy to see everyone biking. Off the Edge is the second version. They are also doing their best work to ensure that service continues through the entire Covid situation. Always love going in as Gary always seems really happy to see you. Great local bike shop.

Stopped by to ask a few questions about some local riding spots, ended up spending more than an hour picking Gary's brain about my bike ready for the BCBR. It's not very common these days to have a proprietor invest that kind of time in a walk-in client with no guarantee of our business. Gary is the consummate professional, offering his experience on a wide-range of topics from clipless systems to suspension to shoes. He has definitely earned our business anytime we are on The Coast!

So impressed by the quality of service I received. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and kind and as a newbie to biking I was made to feel welcome and they were open to questions. Went above and beyond to help me load my bikes and trouble shoot with my bike rack that was jammed. Thank you! I will be back!!

Gary at Off the Edge gave us outstanding service while we were on a mountain biking vacation on the Sunshine Coast. He gave us prompt, personalized service repairing our daughter's bike and was very helpful in recommending trail routes in the area. Make this your bike shop of choice on the Sunshine Coast.

We rented two mountain bikes this weekend. One std., one electric. Both worked flawlessly. 1st time trying an electric mountain bike. Would definitely rent again. Made the hill climbing soooo easy. Gary was helpful and bikes were set up according to our needs. Thanks for the enjoyable rental experience.
