Pam is a sincere and enthusiastic board member that is always willing to help and provide encouragement. I moved to Strathcona County in 1974, along with my husband Clay. We have been blessed with 3 amazing children who have all traveled in different paths than we would have ever thought. I joined the CCLF in the spring of 2015 and have been a member at large and am currently the Chair.
The Positive environmental impact of the reuse model used by stores like the County Clothes-Line is just one way we create change in our community. Unlike some used merchandise stores, the profit from the sale of goods from County Clothes-Line store goes back into the community through the County Clothes-Line Foundation in the form of grants.
Recycling is breaking a product down and making a new copy or making it into something else. This is an important part of the puzzle but what if that product is still working/usable? When we receive items at County Clothes-Line, they are first sorted into what we can and cannot accept. Acceptable items are then thoroughly cleaned before being priced and placed on display.

Love this store. Everything is so nicely displayed. Roomy isles. Quality merchandise. Every time I go there they have rearranged the categories and it looks better and better. They were working on putting out Christmas decor items when I was there. They have a lot of nice items which are easily affordable. I bought a quilted puffer jacket for $15.00 to replace my 18 year old carcoat.

Agreed! Best thrift store around. You need to go regularly to ensure you get your favourite items. They only put out the best items so you don't have to keep an eye out for the stains, rips and missing buttons. They clear out tag colours regularly so you'll always find something new everytime you go.

I am very disappointed in their final sale on all items "due to covid". You can't try on anything and can't return an item if it doesn't fit - due to covid - yet you can shop and touch items while in the store and they are accepting donations...Please explain the scientific reasoning behind this! I will take my business and donations to the Salvation Army who issue exchanges within 10 days of purchase and receipt.
Also prices are all over the map. Some items priced fair but other items are priced way out to lunch on, it all just really depends. Some items you would pay the same price as you would

I'm so glad I visited the site today. I am a frequent visitor to the store, for the great sales, wonderful variety, and gracious staff; but hadn't stopped by the site. I am so glad to read the warning an earlier poster added, about other companies using the Clothesline name. I too noticed this a few years ago, when my call display kept showing… calls from the Clothesline, and when I answered, it turned out to be some word play to their advantage, and they readily admitted they were tied to the Diabetes Association, and I believe, underlying that, Value Village perhaps. I blocked the caller

I used to shop occasionally but after today...NOT again. I love a good deal but your display of books is very disappointing...just tossed in a bin so one would have to dig through to see what's in it. This is how the bindings get broken and the pages torn. Also the corner where you have some on shelves, is in a crowded corner so only one person can browse at a time I won't be back!!
