Made-to-measure is a great option for just about everyone, particularly those who have a harder time fitting clothing off-the-rack or for those who have a particular style in mind. If you can't find it, we can probably make it. The process begins with a selection of pre-existing patterns, which we adjust based on over 50 different measurements and customizations just for you.
Give the gift that always fits. Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees. My experience with The Helm has been wonderful. The orders I have placed have been promptly filled. A very nice surprise came when I purchased a pair of shoes. Much to my surprise, I received a card inside as a thank you for my second online purchase. All I can say is the simple gesture brought a smile to my face. Although, I am not one to shop in stores and by virtually all my items on my vacations or online, every time I have come to the store I have felt welcomed and valued. Best gentleman’s clothing store in town. They carry understated and unique quality garments. There staff is incredible and really know the producers inside and out. They truly help style you. Their custom suit fitting is amazing and turns out better than expected. Worth the price and they truly offer a luxury shopping experience which is unique in Edmonton. Go see Chad and the team. It was a bit ago I purchased a suit very nice fit great staff.
Eye for details had called me a spotted one little stitch out of place so it was an extra day.
I went to pick it up and fit perfectly.
I did get many compliments on it which is easy to say thank you open up the jacket and say the helm...

Needed to purchase a suit for a graduation & in my typical fashion left it a little too long! Now is a panic situation I was running out of time and options to get a suit bought and ready in time! I stumbled upon the Helm online and called! They weren't sure if they could have one ready but if I came down and selected they would do their best!
I have to say I was a little sticker shocked upon arrival, but after discussing their lines and what they could do for me, I was sold! Truly friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating in every way!

What buying clothes is supposed to be like. Premium quality men's clothing. The service is unsurpassed and the staff is not only helpful, they make you feel welcome and at home during your time in the store. They all understand what makes quality clothing fit better and how they should look on you, no matter who you are. Their styles are fabulous and I've never been disappointed with anything I've purchased.
