The vets and techs at Harris Animal Hospital will work with you in our warm, friendly environment to provide excellent, compassionate, lifelong health care for your pet family member. Are you looking for a vet who will really listen to you and help you in every way possible with your beloved dogs and cats?

Harris Animal Hospital is tucked away on Pavey Street in Woodstock, Ontario, we have been helping people with their pets for over 30 years. We are a full service, small animal veterinary hospital. Our veterinary team aims to provide the best quality veterinary medical, preventative, surgical and dental care.
Services
The Harris Animal Hospital has been a Veterinary Facility for over 50 years. Dr. Mitchell started a Veterinary Clinic here in the mid 1950's and the present practice was started by Drs. Fred and Lynda Harris in the mid 1970's. At that time Dr. Fred Harris did Equine Medicine and Dr. Lynda Harris ran the small animal clinic.
Medical Services - Every pet who comes to our clinic for routine vaccinations or for a health concern receives an in-depth exam and consultation with one of our doctors. A veterinary technician assists in this consultation. During the consultation the doctor and technician will make recommendations to assist you in preventing and addressing pet health concerns.
When you are looking for a veterinary care clinic you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. We at Harris Animal Hospital in Woodstock ON have assembled an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet. Our veterinary facility is clean, comfortable, and efficient.
Socialization and training are very important aspects of learning in young dogs, puppies learn most of their social skills before 16 weeks of age, but continue to learn after that age. It is possible to teach an old dog new tricks, you just have to work harder. We recommend that puppies start Puppy Preschool socialization as soon as possible.
At Harris Animal Hospital we are pleased to be able to provide grooming for both dogs and cats. This service is veterinary supervised, so you can rest assured that your pets are receiving the very best care when they spend time in our facility. Our groomer Laine will make your pet look and smell wonderful!

Harris animal hospital is very professional, very friendly, and thorough. I have never felt rushed when I'm there speaking to the veterinarian. She is very informative and takes her time to explain any procedure or answer any question that you might have. I would definitely recommend Harris animal hospital.

My sister had to bring her dog there unexpectedly to be put to sleep. I went with her for support. The staff who didn't know the animal were extremely caring and compassionate. Thank you for being so amazing

Everyone who works there are friendly.professional to us humans but absolutely amazing kind and makes our fur babies feel so comfortable going to the vet. My poor boys ear was sore, and even during the holidays they got me in same day and he feels so much better now. Even received a follow up call ( like us at our drs office) just to see how he was feeling! I’m always so great full for the care they give my fur babies!! Thank you again!!

We took our cat who had gotten really bad matted fur pulling on his skin to get an emergency grooming. Jackie was so patient and treated him with such care and compassion. He is no longer in pain and looks much better. We will be forever grateful for the care and patience we were given. We really appreciate that Jackie got him in so quickly. I definitely would go back anytime

We love the staff at Harris Animal Hospital! Our puppy Carl attended the Puppy Preschool program at Harris and, being brand new dog owners, the staff were wonderful helping us get started with some basic training commands. The staff are always happy to see Carl and he is gets SO EXCITED when we pull into the driveway - he plays all day and is ZONKED when we pick him up to go home. I really appreciated that they are mindful of what dogs attend each day and try to match up the ones who play well together. I enjoy the photos they post on Instagram so I can get a glimpse into his day and the little

Amazing service, especially through the pandemic. We have had to put down a cat and they were very caring through that. We also got 2 kittens and Harris has been awesome with them through their vaccines and neuters. They even texted us photos of the boys after their surgery with an update :) Highly recommend Harris!! <3

Just a great, caring group of people. Dr.Esther is bright, resourceful, and forthright. This clinic will do everything they can for your pet, and not take you to the cleaners with unnecessary tests or medications. They perform many surgeries at the clinic, but bring in surgical specialists as needed. I brought my Australian Cattle Dog to their puppy pre-school; Brigitte and Sheri-Lyn have great training insight; Merlin has had broken pieces of chew toys removed from his stomach; his itching and skin sores cleared up when they figured out his allergies; he's going in for knee surgery at the end
