Services
Dr. Laura Somerville graduated in 2017 from the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine. Laura has seen practice over the UK and Ontario, most recently working in Northern Ontario before moving back closer to home. She has a mixed breed puppy who enjoys being her hiking partner and has recently mastered hopping onto the paddleboard.
Tillsonburg Veterinary Centre provides top animal services in Tillsonburg, from pet nutrition to vaccinations. We give your pet a full physical exam. We are looking for normal and abnormal things. Part of this is the history you give us. We need to know what foods your pet is eating and how much; how much water are they drinking; what do their bowel movements look like; if there is any vomiting (remember for cats this includes hairballs).

The staff are wonderful . They are always friendly and helpful. I especially love how detailed they are in their explanations and how all my questions are answered. You know your vet is great when the dogs are excited to visit lol. I highly recommend them.

The staff are exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to answer my questions. I feel like my fur babies are very well taken care of even when I can't go in with them and that means a lot. They have dealt with COVID protocols very well and take the time to come talk to me outside, rain or shine! I highly recommend.

Our family is entrusting five our pets to Tillsonburg Veterinary Centre and have been since we arrived in Tillsonburg area in 2012. Since then we have gone through many ups and downs with our pet's health and sadly we had to say good bye to the oldest one in 2019. All I can say is that Tillsonburg Veterinary Centre has always been there for us but most importantly for our beloved pets. Our pets are part of our family and it is comforting to us that all of them are under the care of the entire staff at Tillsonburg Veterinary Centre... (Thank You TVC)

Just had my first appointment with Dr Laura & the team! I have to say, I definitely made the right decision choosing Tillsonburg Veterinary Centre. Dr Laura was very patient with our puppy and answered all of my questions. When it came down to discussing vaccinations, Dr Laura was very informative. Unlike other vet clinics I have been to in the past, I did NOT feel like I was dealing with a salesperson. I belive this clinic has the animals best interests in mind which is not always common in 2020.

Great. Clinic. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Try their best to accommodate you and your pet. Dr Jiri is fabulous as well as Dr Terry . When the going get tough they show care and compassion Also if you choose to be-informed re your pets state of health , you only need to ask. Now that the clinic is on line it will even be better .

We have been going to the Tillsonburg Vet Centre for over 15 years. Dr Jiri Svobda is a fantastic vet. We trust him completely with all of our pets needs. He is very knowledgeable and makes sure you understand everything that is going on with your pet. You never feel rushed. He even calls on days off/weekends to check on your pets progress if their condition warrants it.
