Along with hot tub covers or spa covers and lifters The Cover Guy also provides all hot tub filters, chemicals and accessories for hot tubs and spas.

To apply for our scholarship you need to be a student enrolled at a university, college or trade school in the USA or Canada and submit an article consisting of 500-1000 words about your own experience of hot tubs, backyard fun, etc.

I will never buy from the cover guy again- it started bad when they advertised free shipping then after i irdered sent an email saying they had to charge me $50 more because of my zip code- i refused and trued to cancel order then they waived the fee- got an email saying my order shipped and found out when it arrives it was my umbrella not my cover my cover was still 6 weeks out- tried to cancel again they said they would expedite and it would be ready in 3 weeks to ship- now 12 weeks from my order date- they offer me some free bromine then it ships as told 1/21 arrives 1/26- no chemicals not the

Please people, do not order from this company. I made the mistake of ordering a second cover after a defective first one. The company is impossible to get in touch with. NO customer service whatsoever! After telling me that I would get a 40% discount for my warranty, they upcharged me on extra's I didn't want. Even when they sent my bill and charged my credit card, a week later they re-charged my card an extra $50 telling me they made a mistake. I ordered my second cover in October with an expected 4-6 week delivery. It's been now Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan and heading into February. My math says around

Do not order from The Cover Guy! We placed an order back in August and 6 months later (now end of January) my order still not been shipped. They made sure to take the full amount from my bank account back in August when I placed the order. I'm a returning customer and have never had this problem before. I understand that materials are not readily available due to COVID shortages but I would have NEVER placed the order if I knew upfront that it would take at least 6 months for my order to arrive. I sent an email to customer service and received a generic statement about the lack of materials

First it took several months to get the product. Within a few weeks, the hydraulic lift cover piston broke. They will not answer any phone calls! I received a response after sending in photos that it would be 7-10 days.
It has been 43 days and I cannot get an email response on when or if it will be resolved. I offered to pay for the replacement part myself. The cover Blew down with a wind gust and hit me in the head! Customer service is a joke.

My initial review was not very favorable. After reaching out to the company with my concerns, the owner personally reached out to me and my wife to apologize for the long delay in delivery. He explained that the delivery times are much longer than what they typically expect from their shipping company.
All together it took 3 months to receive my cover. My advice to others is to be ready to wait for delivery, but know that you will receive a quality product once it has arrived.

Don't even call them. I've been trying to get in contact with someone from this company for 1+ week. I've called, emailed with someone back and forth, and still to this day, NO CALL. NO HELP. Take your business elsewhere. Trust me. Don't waste your time on a company that doesn't give a f***. Also, now that I see the reviews, seems that the quality is bad and customer support and experiences are terrible.

Every disappointed in the service ordered a cover in September an December still didn’t have the cover paid 875$ the day ordered it an when I email you four weeks later I was told I didn’t reply to the email about the size ( that went to spam) when I replied with all the same measurements that I had given in the initial order. I was told middle of November for delivery.. beginning of December still no cover was told due to Covid-19 orders were delayed. Poor excuse. Over 15 weeks no order .. if you can not fill orders you may want to contact the customer to inform them of the order status NOT

I waited so long to write this review because I wanted to give the company the benefit of the doubt and time to make things right, but they have consistently failed.
My order went into Production 15 weeks ago. After a couple of weeks, I shot them an email asking how things were going and they reminded me that orders take 4 to 6 weeks. That was fine, so I waited.
At 6 weeks I emailed again since the order showed as still in Production. Their response was “As a result of seasonal volume, our current lead-time is now around 6-8 weeks from the date the order is placed into production.”

Three stars for sending a cover with a great fit and the front end of the transaction. A few years later and I'm getting blamed for this tear. They said I burned it with the heat lamp I have on my deck? Anyways this cover is trash now and they the cover guy won't cough up any money for this faulty cover. Oh well.

I wish I had read the reviews about this company before purchasing a hot tub cover. Bought a cover from this company for my Jacuzzi hot tub as it was a good amount less expensive than the OEM ones and I was told by Katy from the company that it is just as good. I regret that decision as I will pay more in water costs than the difference in price.

I quickly noticed that I lost a lot of water from evaporation despite not using the hot tub and the cover being down. I contacted the company and spoke with Amanda. She requested video and pictures of the issue. I finally caught the steam from it on video

Ordered a cover in early October. Early November I was told it was in production, great! But... now it is almost mid December and customer service won't respond to my question as to where my cover is at. Should not take more than two days to respond. The temps are dropping in NJ and I am at their mercy. I guess my cover must be in the North Pole with Santa and the little elves are slowly stitching it together. Maybe when I actually hear back from them and see my cover I can change this review to a more positive one. I'm starting to wish I ordered with the other company I had in mind.

We are thoroughly enjoying our new cover for our hot tub. Very nice materials and it fit perfectly. The hydraulic assist lifter is wonderful and it makes opening up the hot tub a snap with hardly any effort. The lifter was very easy to install with the instructions they sent. Thanks!

The website originally stated three weeks to ship. I ordered on September 28th, they charged my credit card on October 5th, it is now December 15th and it still has not shipped. After several emails back and forth, me requesting an estimated ship date and them skirting around the question, they are now telling me sometime in January. So at this point, living in a cold region, I will not be able to fill my hot tub until spring. They offered me a cover cap for the delay. For what? My non-existent cover? The same day I received that email, they posted on their Facebook page that it takes 4-6 weeks

I emailed the cover guy the day before i ordered they assured me 4 to 6 weeks. We are now on week 7 i emailed them asking where my cover is they say it is still in production and need at least 2 more weeks just to make it. I told them to just cancel the order as i can order another one at there competors and recieve it faster. They said if i cancel they are keeping $50.00 for their trouble of doing absolutely nothing do not buy from these people.

I ordered my cover on September 5th. I screwed up the order (my fault, not theirs) and they caught the problem and notified me that there were inconsistencies in my order. I spoke to a very nice someone on the phone who walked me through the process and got my order going again. A couple weeks later there was a beautiful hot tub cover in a box on my driveway! I installed it in about 5 minutes and it looks great. I couldn't be happier with the process and the product.

AVOID THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY. Just read their numerous complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB.org). They advertise a perfect fit but don't deliver it. Then they tell you to sell the improperly sized cover they shipped you and they'll make you another at a small discount. Then they stop answering your emails and phone calls. It's a TOTAL disregard for the customer once they have your money. They refuse to acknowledge that they made my cover with the incorrect fold and want me to buy another cover!!!

Good Luck! I ordered the cover in May. When the trucking company came for delivery they drove a 40' truck across my lawn and septic system, then proceeded to drop the box on my paved driveway damaging the box. I refused the delivery because of possible damage. The company apologized. It was sent back. I later checked with the company and was told that it was not damaged and they would reship it. When another month went by I called and they said the shipper lost it and asked if I want it remade or refunded. They apologized. I replied, "remake and please hurry". Several more weeks
