Dr. Sheema Samarrae is an internationally trained dentist, graduated in 1998 with a degree in Dental Medicine and Oral Surgery from the University of Baghdad in Iraq. Working between Baghdad and Dubai and then moving to Canada, Dr. Samarrae graduated with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery from Schulich Dental School at the University of Western Ontario in 2008.
She is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, The International Team for Implantology, The International Association of Orthodontics and a Fellow of the American Dental Implant Association. Dr. Samarrae is highly dedicated for ongoing education to acquire new knowledge and experience in order to offer her patients the best dental healthcare possible.

I was extremely pleased with how my 14 month old was treated during her first dental exam. All of the staff were incredibly kind and gentle with her. Despite her tears, the staff went out of their way to make us both feel comfortable. From the warm welcome we received, to the hygienist playing peek-a-boo, to the very gentle exam, I was very impressed with the level of care. The dentist was very warm, professional and gentle.

My husband had a very bad toothache and I happened to call Teal Umbrella and they took him the next day. We are very pleased with the outcome of his appointments. Truly the best dental experience! Not only do they provide you with detailed explanations of what they’re doing and why, they always treat you like family and are so genuinely happy to have you! Super service! I got my wisdom teeth removed and they reassured me a lot and explained everything. Yess it is expensive but at least we get a good service and Dr. Samarre (sorry for the spelling if it’s wrong) is really gentle and kind. She follows her patient recovery and is always there to help. I recommend it a lot !

These are very professional, yet personable people. I have never felt so comfortable and secure at a dental office. The anti-virus precautions they set up in the office and operations rooms were thorough, but not overwhelming. I deeply appreciate the level of communication regarding what the plan was, what they were doing and what to expect. I was so relaxed, I almost fell asleep during the extraction. Highly recommend their practice.
