Dr. Trevor Deck obtained his Ph. D. in clinical psychology from the University of Ottawa and completed his clinical internship at the Ottawa Centre for Psychological Services. He also completed supervised placements at the Ottawa Couple and Family Institute, the Lakehead Psychiatric Hospital (Thunder Bay), the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital & Community Mental Health Centre and the Rideau Correctional & Treatment Centre.
Your appointment time is reserved for you and this means I am unable to see anyone else during your appointment time. I bill the rate of a full session if you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice or fail to keep your appointment. Only under exceptional circumstances is this fee waived.

Such an amazing experience working with Yair and his team. From our initial meeting to the final staining the team has been professional, courteous, transparent, and accommodating. We had a few delays on our part but they were able to shift their schedule to help us out which is always appreciated when you are trying to juggle several projects. We also had a gas line and electrical installed and they made sure to adjust the framing as needed without any hesitation. The guys showed up every morning at 8am on the dot and completed the project in under 2 weeks. Incredibly happy with the result and

We built a huge decks and stairs project in our backyard. We interviewed all of the main companies in L.A., ultimately chose Dr. Deck and Yair, and are really glad we did. They did great work building the project we envisioned. But even better, along the way they helped imagine an even better project. Yair, Matan, and the crew are just awesome. Dr. Deck was super well priced, especially compared to some of the other deck companies, and yet I cannot imagine them doing better work or being more communicative.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Yair and the Dr. Deck team on a poolside project this spring! The work entailed demo-ing some concrete to level things before surrounding our newly renovated pool with Deckorators mineral-based composite wood. We really like this material due to its appearance as well as maintaining relatively cool surface temperatures in the midday summer heat.
Despite a tight project timeline, Yair and his team adjusted things on their end to accommodate us. Two thumbs up - we cannot recommend them highly enough!

I wound up choosing Dr. Deck partly based on the Yelp reviews, partly because Yair felt like a solid guy to do business with. I am so happy we chose them. First of all, the price was completely in line with the other bids we got.
Second, the crew was fast and efficient, both at demolishing my old deck and installing my new one. They displayed a great deal of care about getting everything right. I am thrilled to entertain my guests on this deck.
Important note. A few days after the job was paid in full Yair came out to inspect the job. He was not satisfied with the way a few of the Ipe boards

We worked with Yair and the team at Dr-Deck to build a deck in our backyard this summer, which was previously pretty much unusable. We had a combination of uneven concrete + pavers on the ground, a too-small pergola, and a big patch that was completely exposed to the sun, but Yair and his crew build us a beautiful deck that maximized every square inch of the yard. Dr Deck is the kind of company you hope to experience every time you go into a complex renovation. We count our lucky stars Yair, Matan and their top notch crew were the company we picked. They were polite, kept a clean worksite, observed Covid protocols, and to a person were extremely skilled. Our task was to replace over 1200 sq ft of an aging redwood two-level deck. Demolition and replacement of some substructure was half the battle. Yair and Mattan are consummate professionals. In four days their team built me a 558 square foot Ipe deck that is as sublime as it is useful. They were tidy, flexible, professional, and artistic. I actually wish I had more decks for them to build, it was such an enjoyable experience. Please, contractors, take their master class in customer service. Would that every vendor I dealt with was so on point and detail oriented.

Dr. Deck is the best! Mattan and Yair and their team were absolute professionals, were incredible with communication, and did fantastic work. We did a 1900sqft multi level deck with Golden Balau wood. Mattan was incredibly helpful building the quote and working within our budget. I dont mean to give anyone false expectations but they finished well within their estimated schedule and budget. Their construction team was FAST and Mattan and Yair made sure to always be there each day and walkthrough the job site with us each evening. There is nothing bad to say, would love to work with Dr.Deck again

I'll be recommending Dr. Deck to any of my contacts who have decking needs. There's a number of reasons for this. The most important aspect - the finished product itself - was as expected based on the quality work shown in Dr Deck's Yelp photos. The photos show good work, and it is indeed good work.
We went with 4' IPE wood + clips for a 12x19' detached elevated deck. We also added a stainless steel cable railing, and a built-in IPE bench. I made the joke that in the event of an earthquake I'd run out of my house and onto the deck. I was only half-joking, as this thing is just that sturdy.
