Welcome to Orange County Florida's Primary Care Access Network Web site. The Primary Care Access Network, also known as PCAN, is a dynamic collaborative among Orange County Government, primary health care centers, community agencies, hospitals and other social services. PCAN's mission is to improve the access, quality and coordination of health care services to the underinsured and uninsured populations of Orange County.
PCAN represents our community's "safety net" providers and other community organizations dedicated to improving access to care. Under the leadership of the PCAN Board, six committees and five sub-committees meet monthly. These groups can be divided into primary and secondary categories. The primary group focuses on PCAN's mission to make healthcare available to everyone in the community.

Services
Mission - PCAN's mission is to find a Medical Home for everyone in Orange County (Fla.) and to make health care available to everyone in the community. To accomplish this goal, PCAN has been developing an integrated, comprehensive system of primary care centers. These centers provide medical homes for uninsured and underinsured residents of Orange County.
Having a "Medical Home" means you have a place where you can receive regular health care. PCAN centers see people without health insurance and assist people with limited incomes. Medical homes also treat patients who have private insurance or government-sponsored coverage such as Medicaid, Medicare and Florida KidCare.
