Trent River Cottages is located directly on the Trent River, just outside the Village of Hastings at Lock 18. Only a 90 minute drive from Toronto you will find peace, tranquility and some great fishing! Here at Trent River Cottages we understand our customers are looking for that perfect vacation filled with rest and relaxation.

Just spent a week at the cottages and already booked for next year. I haven't rented a cottage in over 10 yrs as bad experience in past. I was so happy and surprised that the cottage was clean and the place was exactly how they said it would be. This friendly, amazing couple takes pride in their place and it is clear to see.

Right from the second we got settled in yesterday my wife and I knew it was going to be a weekend to remember!!! after an eventful eventing on the water, we got up at 6am for some early morning Fishing with the Mist across the water!! From Losing a Couple Muskie & Largemouth Bass.... To catching another Pike and pretty much every other fish that calls the Trent River Home.... Nice little quiet spot, cottages are decent, the fishing is usually pretty good. And the owners are great people, always looking to please their customers. I will be returning again and definitely recommend them.

The cottage is a must go!! Really nice waterfront cottages with BBQ, firepit and a private lil patio.
The owners were very welcoming :)

We were up for the weekend and really enjoyed the lake front property. The lake is clean and beautiful. The rental property owners are really nice and helpful if you need anything they're always available. The cottage is a typical cottage. We rented the platoon and went out for the day fishing/ swimming. Really had a great time, Thanks Dave and Kachan!

New owners are very friendly and willing to help. We've just came for the day to fish, therefore have nothing to say about cottages. Prices for the boat rent are very reasonable and the quality of the boats is good.

We had a great time. Way better than expected. Beach is sandy all the way into the water. Minimal weeds, warm water. Boat rentals are a great price. Hosts are wonderful. Kitchen is stocked with everything needed. They have ice on site and provide propane. Cottage was clean and roomy. Not crazy hot by the water even in 32 degree weather. It's quiet and respectful. We're going to come often.

I just want to thank Dave and his wife for a great weekend.. Me and the kids had a great time .. It was amazing fishing , I recommend you try it .. The place was clean and Dave and his wife always cleaning if it was inside the cottages or out cutting grass cleaning the boats and garbage .. the boats are new motors and clean .. great prices to rent them , and every time Dave or his wife walked by they always asked use if we needed anything and if things are good .. Not to often do I see an owner at any cottages I’ve been to .. 10 stars to Trent Cottages .. we will be back soon Thanks again

Kanchan and Dave where great to set us up with a boat for the afternoon so we could take our grandson for a ride down the river and fishing...they are very accommodating and nice.. would recommend for sure.
