We're family owned and operated cottage resort on Rice Lake. We've been here for more than 20 years and pride ourselves on providing clean, comfortable, affordable accommodations for family vacations, fishermen and groups of friends. Alpine Resort runs a weekly big fish contest. Bring your catch to the store where we measure and photograph it. We encourage catch and release of the big ones as they are the breeders so will do our best to assist you in making sure your fish lives. At the end of the week the largest small mouth bass, large mouth bass, and muskie gets a trophy or, new this year, a tee shirt.
The 3 bedroom cottages all have a double bed in each of two bedrooms and twin beds in the other. The Dunrovin has a double bed in 3 bedrooms and one twin bed in the other. The Maple and Basswood have a double bed in two rooms, two twins in one and one twin in the other bedroom. The two bedroom cottages oaks, new haven and juniper have twin beds in one bedroom and a double bed in the other.
ALL trailers must be removed upon sale unless prior arrangements have been made, in writing, with the management of ALPINE RESORT. ALL expenses accrued including gas and store purchases must be paid before your departure EVERY time you use your trailer. Post Dated cheques are acceptable. Late Payments will be subject to a late payment fee of $25 PLUS an interest charge of 2% per month.

Cottage was exceptionally clean and spacious. We had an amazing fire at our own fire pit (wood delivered daily if requested) Tons of fun fishing from the dock and our rental boat. Amazing sunsets! Perfect… to go with kids or adults..something for everyone. Management and staff were very friendly and available if needed. Definitely will be returning!

The Hosts are not pleasant.. Seems like they don't like you unless you are a regular guest.. I got the feeling that we were "bothering" them every time we went into the store/office.. Everything is beatuiful except the attitude of the owners... You can do what you want with your money, but these people will never see another cent from me..

I have stayed at this resort several times and each time it was well worth every cent spent. The cottages are clean and well maintained. Everything was provided except food (ie: pots, pan, cutlery etc) It was next to a serene lake and soooo relaxing. I recommended this resort to friends and one has stayed there as well. They also raved about their stay at the Alpine Resort. I will stay there again. If you every need to relax and unwind from your stressful life, go to Alpine Resort. You won't be disappointed

Have stayed here many times, EXCELLENT grounds and accommodations!! Cottages are super clean and cozy. The Staff is friendly and helpful, they go above and beyond! Fun activities throughout the week and the most delicious ice cream. I would definitely recommend, 10/10, would go back in a heartbeat 👍👍👍👍 oh also most amazing sunsets I've ever seen

Great family run resort - very friendly owners. Various cottages available from 2 bedrooms up to 4 bedrooms. Pet Friendly (for a charge) but great little getaway on Rice Lake. Boat rentals available, pool on site, with a small store to buy ice cream and other little things you may have forgotten that will save you a trip into town. Fish from the docks for lots of panfish - perfect for little kiddies to get into fishing. Wonderful sunsets here. Enjoy!
