Since 1989 Best Gourmet Coffee Company has been serving our customers with premium quality coffee at an affordable price all the while focusing on sustainability and positive outcomes. Our family owned company has been roasting coffee for generations of Canadians providing good jobs for people here in BC.
The small hole in the bottom of the tin is covered by a one way adhesive valve much like the ones that you find on bags of coffee. After much testing we determined that our coffee keeps much better with this valve in place compared to how we used to pack it. Coffee releases CO2 after it is roasted, when it is trapped in the tin is bitters the coffee over time.
