My battery had died from the cold snap, and AMA wouldn’t be able to provide a boost for 16 hours. Not a big surprise as it was extremely cold. Fortunately I wasn’t stranded but needed to get home.
I saw the great reviews and called and had a wonderful chat and to my surprise the service truck arrived within about 20 minutes. Bill was great and offered tips to remove corrosion later, and to drive long enough before I parked for the night. I highly recommend this business.

This tow yard is a horrible company and a scam artist. They showed up on the scene and I did not chose them at all but they took my vehicle. The next day I got a call from my insurance company that they are charging over 900 for a one day storage and tow. They are now holding my vehicle hostage until they pay their absorbent amount. Stay far away and if they come to the scene refuse their service. I am reporting to the BBB and will be calling the police if needed. If you look at the other review they have done this to multiple people

I called Grandin Towing to help me remove my truck from a sticky legal situation. It was a Saturday afternoon, on a frigid winter day & required police presence to ensure all went without incident. Joe was extremely kind & considerate, saying that he could manage the removal of my truck without my key (thus ensuring I did not have to encounter "the defendant" who has a No Contact Order against him). Joe helped make a stressful time go smoothly!! He ensured my truck was hauled back to my place out of town, on time & delivered with the utmost skill. Due to the extreme cold weather , I needed someone to come and boost my car. The lady I talked to on the phone was so pleasant and told me that someone would be there in a couple of hours ( with AMA it would have been a 48 hour wait). Grandin Towing sent a wonderful employee to come boost my car as well as my brothers. He was very friendly and determined to get our cars running. Later on that day, I went to the gas station to fill up my car.. And my car would not start after I filled. A tow truck appeared in Heath Place crescent on Thursday Dec 27 at 2:00PM and successfully blocked all traffic out of our crescent with the driver still in the vehicle!!.
Several attempts were made to ask him to move his vehicle but he simply refused to recognize his POOR parking habit. This driver is unusually rude and has a serious attitude problem!!! He is a disgrace to the St Albert Towing Service.
