In an effort to protect our clients and staff as well as comply with Health Regulations, an appointment is now REQUIRED for all services. We ask that all clients who have recently returned from abroad & clients who are experiencing flu like symptoms to remain at home. Recent policy changes allow us to offer alternate witnessing options for clients who are not able to attend our offices.

Services
Walk-ins are accepted but we prefer that you make an appointment to ensure a Notary is available and you do not have to wait. Currently, our Notaries do not attend homes or hospitals. However, there are other Notaries or Lawyers who do. We do have some referrals if these services are required. If you are a business and require multiple notarizations, we may be able to visit your office upon request.

My parent was there to notarize paperwork for the China Consulate in Vancouver, a service that they offer. They compiled the paperwork and sent it off only to get rejected by the Consulate that certain document does not meet the requirement and that they could not accept the paperwork. The admin from the consulate told us they had processed many notarization requests from this firm and they should have known requirement!!! THE PROCESS CAUSED US MORE THAN 2 WEEKS and that we are in an EMERGENCY. When discussing the issue with them, the business operator Chen blamed us for not checking the Consulate

I am impressed by Maida & Chen, specifically Paul Chen’s, professionalism and customer service.
