Cut-Rite Meats

I ordered soup bones and beef stewing meat which are hard to find in the grocery stores. I am very pleased with the wonderful soup bones and roasted them immediately for broth. Delivery was fast and free. I will order from Cut Rite again!

Small Business is tough I know. Trying to be a fair customer can even be tough. Customers have a high expectation for delivery. and I know I am one of THOSE customers. A misunderstandings, and staff procrastination together made for a poor customer experience for me! Jim, the owner, says he will make for a better experience on my next shopping day.

What an amazing experience! The delivery driver went out of his way, above and beyond actually, all to ensure our package was hand delivered! If that wasn't impressive enough, once I opened the box and saw the presentation, I was floored! Perfect portions and great packaging! As for the taste of the product, OH MY GOODNESS! Well worth the order!

VERY poor quality. bacon smelled off, during cooking. I had used the bacon ends to flavour my chicken and added it to a stew for flavour, ended up discarding the works due to the off-putting distasteful smell. Called and requested a refund, manager refused because I discarded their product. Any excuse to not do a refund. Not a reputable, trustworthy or honest experience.

I purchased my first 2 tomahawk steaks May 23. Have more family showing up for supper on May 24 I called the store and they are making the delivery to me in time for supper today. They are amazing. Very pleasant to deal with and have an amazing arrangement of meats and others. Please support them and make this your one stop shop for best meats in Calgary.

Cut Rite Meats gets the gold star! I've been self-isolating for months now, and I'm on a special high-fat diet that is meat heavy, so I've been looking for a place that offers a wide variety of cuts for a great price. After discovering that CRM delivers on orders over $100, I thought I'd give them a try.

I ordered Chuck/Blade steak, beef soup bones, and a pack of beef fat trimmings. Everything is so fresh and beautiful - I'm so happy! Their online ordering site is easy to use. I've spoken with a couple of the staff over the phone and they were more than happy to

I purchase my dog food here. My dog has a very sensitive stomach, and every allergy in the book. This is the ONLY raw dog food I have fed him that hasn't come with any reactions.
On top of it all, it's a good price and my dog loves it!

Bought some so called beef garlic sausage would not feed it to pigs should be called Cut Rate meats poor quality will stick to Master Meats.

How have I not been here before? Large selection of beef cuts at better prices than anywhere else in town. And they'll break down the large cuts any way you like for free, which was especially useful for the short rib I went in to buy. If you need a full double brisket for smoking, this is your place too. Elk, bison, pork (did someone say house-smoked bacon?) and other meats were well priced too.

Went in to get a T-bone for dinner. Left with 65 lbs of meat. About $300. Good selection, portioned the way I asked. As to what I've tried, the meat is excellent. Would recommend people give it a go. Lots of excellent freezer packages at good prices. Counter service was top notch. Great place.

Purchased over 200.00 in meat last month and am very un happy with what my meat order was ....the ground beef smells and taste like it spoiled ...the steaks what a joke , they are bone with a bit of meat ...so far the pork and chicken seem alright ...we will not be returning ...over all the beef all smells bad

Super nice folks. One guy even offered to help carry my meat to my car. ;) I like this place because it's low key and old school. Looking forward to trying their cherry smoked bacon next visit.

Cut-Rite Meats is probably one of the least unassuming butcher shops in town in one of the most out of the way location as well in Forest Lawn. Going down 17 Ave SE, and a bit down the way from the Sobey's and Zeller's mall, you would find this simple white building with painted windows at a strange triangular corner.
The quality of the meats are first-rate, with a wide selection in beef, pork, and poultry. There's even a selection of game meats in burgers and what-not, and Jimmy the Butcher offers wild game meat butcher services as well for all you Alberta hunters. I've
