Calgary Meats & Deli

The only place in Calgary I buy meat. Good quality, way better than over priced grocery store meat. Freezer packs are the way to go. Free delivery is a bonus. Saves money on groceries as meat lasts our family months.

I have been using Calgary Meats for about 3 or 4 years now. Fantastic staff (friendly and helpful) as well as great quality meats and prepared items. Prices are very fair too.

Amazing place for great cuts of meat. Just had them do me up a Rib Roast for the smoker and they cut the bones off for me and retied it. You just can't beat the quality of the meat and it's consistent every time.

They absolutely do have the best jerky in calgary. It is decently priced and made to perfection! Slurp! highly recommend you pop in for some.

I got one of the most tasty steaks from here. Certainly good quality meat and knowledgable staff.

We found this store a few months ago. Bought some Rib steaks that were great! Surprisingly the prices were almost identical to Coop so we now shop here weekly. We watch the sign out front for specials. Easy quick parking right out front and nowadays shopping local is key !!

Was told by a friend to go here and I'm glad I did! The chicken thighs were juicy and I alot for the price. Their pepperoni sticks were amazing and we're trying the ribs out right now! I'll keep going here from now on! Especially for what you're paying at the stores and the flavour here is so much better!

Excellent store with friendly and helpful staff. I ordered marrow bones online at this location and they were out of stock but then they contacted me by email when it was available again. I used them for pho but they would be perfect for baking and eating with toast too.
They have all sorts of meats and pies and pates and jerky to try too. Definitely would recommend visiting this store if you haven't already.

My husband and I have been going to Calgary Meats and Deli for about 2 years now. We know that we’ll be treated like gold every time we go into the shop!
The owner and employees never fail to impress, providing us with tasty samples and meeting us halfway when it comes to cutting our meats the exact way we want or asking us specific questions about how we plan on cooking our meat. Not to mention, they ALWAYS make regular conversation with us and make us feel right at home.

Calgary Meats is a small butcher shop off Edmonton trail near downtown. There isn't a large selection of fresh meats to choose from like you might find at Bonton Meat Market or at a Crossroads. Still the frozen selection of meats is quite large and the prices are reasonable. Given how important it is to have meat in your diet and what a difference good meat makes I'm always looking for places I can find these good options. I really love a well done liver pâté so that I can dip bell pepper into them as a snack. This shop has a nice selection of fresh made pâtés. My favourite is the

Had a very good quality new yorks and a t-bone. The price was more than reasonable and way lower than in the stores.

This is the best butcher shop in Calgary. Fantastic quality, amazing service, and a bit of everything for all needs. The value in their meat packs has you leaving with high quality and more than you'd get elsewhere. I never go anywhere else.

Wow, This place is amazing! Came here for our first time and purchased a meat pack for $120. The quality of the meat is great! No preservatives, hormone free and all natural!

The price is perfect. for $120 we received:
3 pounds of Alberta Sirloin Steak
3 pounds of pork chops
3 pounds of boneless chicken breast
5 home made smokies
5 beef sirloin pattys
and a home made sausage.

Like i said the meat is amazing its fresh and tastes great! I am for sure a repeat customer.

No preservatives, hormone free, natural goodness. Don't get the turkey jerky, I want it all to myself.

Meat is pricier than in a generic grocery store, but it is worth it, you can taste the difference.

The employees are very knowledgeable and will give you tons of information about the meat if you ask.

When you enter this deli all you can smell is fresh smoked meat, it reminds me of the smokehouses in Old Crow, Yukon where you enter and all you smell is fresh caribou meat.

This place is really clean, has nice visuals and the gal working there is really friendly. The counter showcase displays all the nice cuts from bison to beef, pork and elk. The standup freezer carries the duck and poultry products.

The cuts look lean and nice and red plus the prices seem really reasonable.

If you are on Edmonton Trail this is an easy turn for meating!
