Answer: Water and soap run off your vehicle, into storm drains, and eventually into rivers, streams, creeks, and wetlands where it disturbs and damages the ecosystem. Scam. If I had the option to give zero stars I would. My husband came here because it is advertised as 24 hour service here. The machine charged our credit card and the gate did not open up. I tried to call the phone number listed but all I was getting was the voice mail. I paid $15 which went to nothing. Since it's the long weekend, I assume no one will take my phone call tomorrow or Monday. This is not right. This should be resolved soon- I should get reimbursed or my service that I paid for. What a waste of time.

Today I came in with a clean car with exception to some road spray, decided to fully wash my car in the wand wash area - after vacuuming the car I could see a dirty haze film all over the car even on the soft top roof. My husband was also washing his vehicle and he also had a dirty hazy film all over the Vehicle.
I went and talked to the attendant and he was rude and said, "what would you like me to do?" I said, well I would like a clean car. Obviously there is something wrong with your system. I suggested the auto car wash - quick wash for $9. The attendant proceeds to advise me

**This review is for the Self Serve portion of the car wash - I have no experience with the automatic wash on-site**
This place is awesome. I care about my car, but I live in a condo and have no place to wash it. Go Wash is relatively affordable (less than $10 to wash my SUV, and I really take my time), and the facilities are well maintained and seem relatively new. Machines work by credit card or coins (loonies and toonies, not stupid proprietary tokens like other carwashes). It's also open 24 hours. There are vacuums and vending machines on the property too.

Not sure why but every time I take my car through this car wash, it ends up not coming out clean. I do like that it's open 24 hours, however. I've bought the Silver wash a few times and have still found dirt spots in easy to see places like my hood.
Haven't tried the self serve area but it seems well maintained and easy to access in a safe area.

I've used Brown Bear in the states and the Royal Oak Car Wash in Burnaby, but Go Wash is my favourite so far for simple reasons.
1. The machine runs on credit card. You swipe to start, and hit end when you're done and get one charge for your overall time. No more tokens and racing around. I did pay more than normal, but I had just come back from camping in the rain at Golden Ears, so this was expected.
2. The wash has a ton of options. I didn't explore in detail because I was in a rush, but there seemed to be a lot to work with to get your car clean.

BEST SELF SERVE CAR WASH EVER!!!
I guess this place is out of the way for most people, the only reason I went is because its on my way to pit meddows. And holy frik im glad I did.
First best thing is that u just put in ur card and press the settings you want to use, and press stop when ur done. That way theres no guessing how many tokens you should buy! Its excellent! They have a few extra soapy/clear coat settings, I used em all!! Took my time and gave it the best wash I could, and it was $12.00 .. I could get away with under $6 next time
AND there soaps are like soooooooo pretty smelling!
