Our studio is a warm, comfortable and casual environment, filled with natural light. Divided into an equipment studio and a mat studio, we can offer you the full spectrum of the Pilates experience. The Body Works Pilates Studio is a hidden gem located on the second floor at #210, 8625-109th Street, above Remedy Cafe (Look for the big yellow awnings).
At The Body Works Pilates Studio, all of our teachers are certified through a comprehensive training program, one comprised of lectures, observation, practice, hands-on apprenticing plus a written and practical examination. Our trainers are educated in handling clients with specific injuries or body conditions that might warrant a modified approach.
Our personalized program is a physical reflection of Joseph Pilates' philosophy. Private lessons allow clients to have a more customized plan modified for their needs rather than a basic general plan applied in group sessions.

The Body Works Pilates Studio is the first organization in Edmonton to offer a Pilates teacher training program. Established in 2000, the program has produced numerous Pilates teachers who now teach in many Pilates studios and fitness facilities in Edmonton, throughout Alberta and across Canada.
The goal of the program is to train inspired and skillful Pilates teachers who have a thorough understanding of the classical Pilates repertoire and its application in facilitating proper functional movement to the broad spectrum of clients that they will encounter in the fitness field.
