Very happy with the inspection done by Castlerock! Daryl was on time, efficient and knowledgeable. Did a thorough inspection and pointed out some potential issues which we brought up in our offer negotiations. There were some other bids on the home but since we were able to get the inspection done so quickly we could remove the conditions and ended up winning. We are happy with our new home and felt confident making the purchase based on the inspection that was done!

Our rep, Daryl, did a great job when we bought our house a few years ago. Found a lot of stuff that we decided was worth fixing, and I referred back to the video many times (rather than getting into our crawlspace myself). My dad just had them do an inspection for his place before putting it up for sale, and was really happy with the service too!

Not sure how my honest review got removed, but you’ll want to steer clear of this inspector. I’m in over $15,000 of repairs and quotes for work that Phil didn’t disclose. He gave this house a clean bill of health in his written inspection binder (which is all you get that day) on which I based my final offer and closed the house. Don’t be fooled by the promise of a magical inspection DVD. Mine went directly to my agent who didn’t get it to me for months. When I got the DVD, everything that was wrong with my house could be seen on the DVD, but he says nothing about it. Get your own inspector

Seemed great at first, friendly inspector, nice little video done to highlight all issues, we were told nothing major and everything could be done within time.
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!
Within two months of living in our new home, we have discovered MANY issues that our inspector from castlerock missed.. and they are very obvious issues (according to the many trades we have had to bring in). THOUSANDS of dollars later and we havent even scratched the surface. Thanks for nothing Castlerock!!

Inspection was very thorough and even came with a video/description of every minor detail and suggestion for upgrades. Love this, we can now refer back whenever we want. Quick and friendly service at a very reasonable price. Came recommended by our real estate agent, would definitely call again!

We were buying a property via a private sale, and opted to use a home inspection service for peace of mind for both buyer and seller. Castle Rock was referred by our mortgage broker, and our representative was Jerry. Jerry spent nearly 3 hours surveying the property top to bottom and was exceptionally knowledgable and professional. The company also provided us with a USB and video tour which he showed us from his laptop to summarise the inspection; this was good because we can now refer back to it for any advisory note follow ups which we may plan to repair and show contractors specifics from the

If a home inspection is what you need, don't use this company. We trusted their opinion when buying our house 3 years ago and I have regretted it ever since. Within 3 years, we have had the basement dug up to fix the plumbing, all of the electrical redone because it was not up to code, and the roof replaced. All of these things should have been completely obvious to a home inspector but was not included in the home inspection.
Choose another company and don't trust Castlerock. Professional they are not.
