As a boutique butcher shop, we specialize in local dry aged beef, in-house smoked meats and poultry, and a wide range of premium products. We operate a small freestanding meat plant in Oakville that allows us to source mainly from Southern Ontario farms - some of the best in the world.

Great selection for such a small store. Lots of premarinaded meat that is all excellent, huge options of spices and rubs. I didn't know what biltong is until I randomly checked this place out driving by. This stuff is cheaper then beef jerky and tastes way WAY better, wish I could get it at every gas station instead of the jack links. Price for meat is a on the upper side, but you definitely get what you pay for. Wish it was open on Sunday

My family were frequent shoppers at Florence meats until a couple months ago. I had previously left a 5 star review regarding quality and service. Unfortunately we encountered an issue with one of their products and the response we received was incredibly unpleasant. The co-owner made sure to repeatedly tell us he knew there was nothing wrong with our item without even inspecting it when we arrived at the store to ask for an exchange. I love this place. In addition to a great selection of meats, they have a great selection of condiments to complement the meats; i.e., sauces, and seasonings. I found the place looking for biltong, and was quite impressed. I just thought I would find some "jerky in a bag", but they sell it fresh and they shave it for you.
You can get your South African sausages, beef, lamb, chicken...You can get it seasoned, if you'd like. They even have a few game meat options. I try to stop by here every time I come to town. If you're a fan of fresh meat, go see for yourself!

I was referred this place by one of my South Agrican mate ..Just visited and got myself couple of things just to try first ..I bought like 200 grms of biltong and opened the first bag on the way back home ... and i finished all the biltongs in 10 mins ..I can say that these were one of the best biltongs i have ever tasted!! I highly recommend this place and definitely come back very soon ..

As an expatriate SA, this takes care of my boerewors, melktert, koeksisters and sosatie cravings. Never cared for biltong but they have it there. The quality of the meat is second to none and the place is absolutely spotless. They carry Mrs. Balls' (yes folks, that's the name) chutneys in different flavours and an array for SA spices. The Durban curry masala is available there and its my all-time favourite. A bit of a drive to get there but worth it. Professional counter staff.
