Joseph Bakery and Delicatessen Inc. is a well-known bakery, delicatessen and pastry shop that has had the pleasure of serving the community for more than 50 years. Located in the heart of the European Facer Street District of St. Catharines, St. Joe's also offers unique specialty foods from Poland and other European countries.
Now in its third generation of ownership by the Kedzierski family, "the bakery", as it is affectionately known by many, also sells hot and frozen meals in its store. In addition, we provide catering services, and supply baked goods and other food products to many restaurants and other establishments throughout the Niagara region.

Services
In 1963, Michael Kedzierski, an immigrant from Poland, and his family bought St. Joseph Bakery from its original Italian owner. Uncertain how his new venture would turn out, Michael decided to keep his job at a local paper mill when he first took ownership of the business and he enlisted the help of Catherine, his wife, to help run the small store.

I went in there looking for bread and didnt see what I was looking for. I was about to leave when the Gentleman behind the Dessert counter asked if I needed assistance , I informed him what I was looking for & he said it was Panini Bread ! They only had 2 left but the Deli lady gave me her 4 that she had !
On the way out I seen the Long Johns and Eclairs! I grabbed a bunch for the Lunch I was having .
Needless to say the Bread was exactly what I was looking for and the Donuts were incredible!
Definitely going back !!

I had chance to visit this place when we on the way back to Niagara Falls, staff were very friendly and helpful. They’re selling delicious pastries with super affordable price and also selling freshly made sausages and other meats. I got two pieces of Schnitzel and it was really good compared with the price!!

Wish I could give this place zero stars. The product is not that great. The place looks old and rundown inside. The women that work here are beyond rude. God forbid you ask for help or a question. I recommend people visit Buns Master Bakery on Carlton Street. They have quality and friendly service there.

I have not eaten here, BUT, my fiance's father's side of the family is Polish, and he has been getting kielbasa from here for about a decade now. Believe me when I say that they make THE BEST ever.
We came here with last weekend with his father for the first time, and went home with 5 lbs of smoked kielbasa, 2 lbs of smoked turkey sausage and another 2lbs of double smoked turkey sausage. We also picked up some frozen pierogies (i'm not sure if they make them as they look machine-made and prepackaged already). We got the cheddar cheese, sauerkraut with pork, and pork. We tried some

This might just be my favorite bakery in the Niagara area.
It's a Polish bakery with a full deli section full of a wide variety of kielbasa, pepperoni & other sausages. They will make you an awesome, fresh sandwich for you with your choice of meats, cheeses & toppings on fluffy buns.
Their rye bread is out of this world that is freshly baked on site, and they have a grocery section full of specialty, gourmet & authentic Polish/Ukrainian foods - jars of sour cherries, Polish mayonnaise, butter, pressed cottage cheese, sauerkraut, frozen cabbage rolls & perogies, wild mushrooms
