Egor Belashov got into Ballroom dancing at a very young age. He is an experienced teacher, performer, competitor, and choreographer. He has also managed dance schools and organized dance parties, recitals, showcases, competitions & festivals. In his home city Murmansk, Russia, Egor established a dance studio that grew quickly into one of the most successful social dance schools in the North West of Russia.

I started dancing at the studio in February 2020 in a Latin Group Dance, then COVID happened and the studio was closed. However, Egor managed to do online classes with some of his students during the lockdown. It was amazing dancing online via Skype. All the sessions were recorded and we were able to see ourselves dancing. Egor critiqued us all and gave great tips on improving our steps and how to hold our postures. I learned a lot on what I was doing wrong and have become a better dancer, all due to Egor's critical eye :) I have also taken up private ballroom dancing which is the highlight

We reached out to Egor to help us coordinate our wedding dance. We were delighted with the routine that was developed. Our routine was about 2 mins 40 secs long to the song cruisin’ by Smokey Robinson. The choreography was kept within our general skill level since we only started 1 month before the wedding date, but the choreography developed was elegant and definitely entertained all our guests. We recommend that you reach out to Egor for your wedding dance routine if you are planning one, and to start it at least 2 months in advance of the wedding date.

My partner and I worked with Egor for our first dance at our wedding. We had a wonderful experience! Egor choreographed a beautiful first dance for us. We had lots of fun at our practice sessions and appreciated Egor's flexibility and ability to break down the steps and make sure we were getting it right. At our wedding when we stepped out for our first dance, everyone was so surprised, as we had not told anyone we had a choreographed first dance! The effect was awesome and people have since brought the dance up several times. It was definitely a highlight, especially when we pulled off the lift

Egor did an amazing job teaching a beautiful 3-min wedding 1st dance choreography to me and my husband in just 2 weeks (4 classes)! He is very enthusiastic, easygoing and above all, super knowledgeable and professional! He adjusts the moves according to our preference and comfort level and is very easy to communicate with. Egor choreographed and taught us our wedding dance. My husband and I had no prior dance experience, but after working with Egor we felt confident dancing in front of our guests. He made sure the moves he taught us were within our abilities, but still looked great. The best part is how much fun we had learning the dance, and performing the dance together on the big day. Lessons was one of our favourite parts of wedding planning. I highly recommend dance lessons with Egor!

Egor helped my husband and I prep for our first dance at our wedding. I had never taken lessons prior to this and we only had a few months to prepare but he worked with us and choreographed exactly what we were looking for! He was also very accommodating with regards to our private dance lessons and busy schedules.
We loved our dance and all of our guests said our tango was the best part of our wedding.

We were looking for private dance lessons for our first dance and we found Dance with Me Toronto. Egor was such an amazing dancer/instructor. He was patient with us and accommodated our busy work schedule. Egor was very open minded, he listened to what we envisioned and allowed us to incorporate our dance moves. I highly recommend anyone who’s looking for lessons, whether for a wedding or recreational, he’s definitely the one!

I researched different wedding dance teachers on Facebook and Egor came highly recommended, so we booked a fee consultation about 3-4 months prior to our wedding and went to meet with him. Egor was easy going, funny and very personable. He told us to come back about 4-5 weeks before our wedding to start building and practicing our routine. He was flexible with his schedule and accommodated our hectic schedule. Egor was a great teacher and gave us the confidence we needed to nail our wedding dance!

My wife and I used Dance with Me Toronto in Nov/Dec working with Egor Belashov. We wanted our first dance at our wedding to be unique and my wife came across Dance With Me on a Google search for choreographed dances. Neither of us are professional dancers so we were nervous when we had our first trial appointment but Egor was very welcoming and knew he'd have his work cut out for him from the start. For the next six weeks, Egor crafted a wonderful routine for us (which even had a lift!) around our pre-selected song while dealing with two tired dancers as our appointments were scheduled in the morning

We are so lucky to have found Egor as our wedding dance teacher because he is the most patient and most creative teacher out there. We did a mesh up of four songs, some fast and some slow, and we needed a dance teacher to choreograph the dance moves as we go along within the limited time that we had before the wedding. Egor completely delivered and… we were able to catch on the dance moves (with practice of course)despite having little to no dancing background. The dance was definitely the highlight of our wedding and we got a lot of compliments! Thank you for the fun times Egor!

My now husband and I decided to take dancing lessons as a way for us to feel more at ease during our first dance. We expected to go in and just get a couple basic steps down so we wouldn't embarrass ourselves, but thanks to Egor, not only did we feel on top of the world during our first dance, but we came out with a completely choreographed dance that left our guests standing up and cheering. Egor is brilliant. He choreographs for people who have no rhythm (me), no experience (me), and no balance (so me). He conducts group lessons of all type (i.e. salsa, tango, ballroom, etc.) and they're inclusive and lots of fun. However, that brilliance really shines through when you do one-on-ones with him.

My wife and I joined Egor's rumba/cha-cha/swing class almost a year ago. Since then, we've significantly improved our dancing skills and our confidence level to actually 'hit the floor' at different parties has risen. Well, this certainly required some extra practice at home on top of the weekly one-hour class, but the main contributor to our progress was the instructor.

Spent years wishing I could dance if I tried, also spent years telling myself probably not able to do it. Jumped in and tried a class with Egor and can happily report wish I had tried it years ago....Egor is excellent at not allowing your doubts to grow by just smiling and pushing you forward. He is excellent dancer and teacher. He has quiet… reassuring way of instilling confidence and skill in you, even as you doubt your capability. I love and look forward to my lessons. I highly recommend anyone thinking about learning to dance to absolutely give those dreams to Egor and watch them grow
