Do you work hard at your career and personal relationships but usually feel like one or the other is taking up too much of your time and energy? Does that voice in your head saying "you can do better" make you feel anxious, stressed and overwhelmed? Perhaps you have tried to work through these issues on your own, researching online, talking to friends, but nothing ever seems to change?

Whether you are just starting to think about therapy, or are ready to book an appointment, I am here to help!
Services
I have been interested in health my whole life, and as time went on I developed a growing interest in mental health and helping others. As my interest grew and I was able to walk alongside friends and family with concerns and issues, I realized that I passionately wanted to be able to help more people grow healthier and happier.
As a psychotherapist my passion is to come alongside people who are struggling with difficult life situations, people who may be experiencing negative thought patterns, grief or depression or anxiety or relationship issues. I believe one of my greatest strengths is my ability to empathize with you, in a warm and caring way, helping you to explore the issues that you are facing in a safe and secure environment.
A. Of course. More and more people are choosing counselling to overcome a particular issue, understand feelings or just because they feel that things need to be better. If you think of someone going to a gym to get physically fitter, you can also think of counselling for mental fitness. Short term counselling suits many people: it is usually from 6 to 20 weeks (some people only want one or two sessions).
I do not accept friend or contact requests from current or former clients on any social networking site. I believe that adding clients as friends or contacts on these sites can compromise your confidentiality and our respective privacy. It may also blur the boundaries of our therapeutic relationship.
When you contact me I will ask some general questions such as the reason for your call, what issues you may be struggling with and/or what you are currently experiencing. At your first appointment we will discuss more fully why you've come and what your concerns are. I will ask some relevant questions about your life so I can get a sense of what your world is like for you.
