2 the mind must be absolutely free of content, innocent; like the ocean water being perfectly clean/clear. Asana literally means "seat" - it means to "take your seat" and when this is translated as the word "pose" it means the biblical direction to "be still and know". In other words "meditation".
The understanding that flowers out of this practice is the other biblical expression, "I am that I am" or said another way, "I am the knowing by which I know that I am."This is the experiential understanding of Nonduality. Nisarga Yoga is a means of attuning with that Flow via Breathing and practice gives access to a higher intelligence than book learning and general knowledge.

I came to this studio for my first yoga class in 2016 and had an experience in the beautiful Bikram heat that made me realize something profound about myself and my healing. I’m thankful to the owners, staff and powerful teachers for sharing the love as I began my yoga practice. The teacher Erin B along with many beautiful teachers make this studio stand out and have lifelong memory. I highly recommend Being Yoga to all levels of practitioners! Namaste!

Avid yogini, new to SF, looking for a yoga home.. I was met with a very offputting attitude as soon as I walked in. I had to pull every bit of information out of the woman at the front desk (who clearly did NOT want to be there) including member rates, new student specials, if there were showers, etc. I ended up leaving.
I was also able to see the ending of the current class through the big glass window. Let me tell you what I saw: the instructor ending the class & walking out of the studio as she ROLLED HER EYES.
I had only been in SF for 4 days. Just looking for an environment of like minded

Okay admittedly I found the space and classes to be too crowded, and the thought of people sweating on me made me cringe, but all of that faded as each challenge disappeared- you learn this through yoga and experience. Now what makes this space fantastic is the crowd- the staff and teachers are very loving and caring- you don't find that just anywhere. That is Being Yoga. Go try it for yourself, but don't treat it like a workout, instead be open to ask questions and interact with the staff, teachers, and your fellow yogis. You may be surprised what you find. Enjoy and yoga on.
