Alex enjoys spending time travelling and recently taken an interest in baking, and is fluent in both English and Spanish. After obtaining her Honours BSc in Human Biology and Psychology, Sharon went on to complete her Dental Hygiene Diploma at George Brown College. Sharon is an experienced, dedicated team member whose Science and Biology background enhances her patient care.

Dr Anita Sharma, originally from Nova Scotia, completed her post-secondary education, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1992. In 1992 she moved to Toronto to start her career as a dentist and maintained an Associateship Position in Newmarket for 17 years, before joining with her sister in 2009 to start their own dental clinic.
My introduction to Dr. Kapoor came about as a result of my previous dentist's decision to retire 4 years ago. I must admit I was anxious about changing dentists after having 20+ years of good care with my previous dentist. Not only did Dr. Kapoor erase that anxiety, she came to earn my trust and respect.
DSK Dental at Bayview Village provides exceptional dentistry that goes beyond clinical excellence. Hygiene appointment with Alex. She was very considerate and ensured I was comfortable at each stage. Everyone at DSK appreciates my difficult history with dentists. From the welcoming greeting from Carol when I arrive, to the friendly atmosphere maintained throughout my appointments, right up the warm send when my appointment has finished. DSK has you in mind at all times.
After my last dentist retired, I was on pace to avoid all dentists for 10 years for a second time. Thankfully, I found DSK.

They charge over the dental guideline fees, so you will have to pay out of your pocket every time you visit them, for every single service. There is no justification for the premium you are paying. They have even charged me for explaining how to brush my teeth and floss…
On top of that, one of the dentists here told me that I have a cavity and that one my teeth needs to be removed in order to treat the cavity and provided me an inflated estimate for the treatment. I was skeptical and did not proceed with it. After a short while the doctor and the receptionist called me to express their concerns

I had extreme anxiety regarding dental work for many years. DSK has ALWAYS made me feel comfortable and has eased any worries I may have regarding any procedures. Their staff are very friendly, welcoming, and supportive. All work they have done for me has been timely and extremely well done. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND DSK.

I was a patient of Dr. Sharma until 5 years ago and when I moved out of the area I changed to a dental clinic closer to my new residence for pure convenience. I had a filling done on a molar which had partially broken and Dr. Sharma did an excellent job which lasted over 5 years and suddenly broke off now. I called them to get an appointment to get it fixed again and the response from the receptionist Carol was that you had changed over to another dentist and you can go backto them as we are not really interested. Her tone smacked of subtle racist overtones as she probably detected my accent and

In this uncertain environment, our family felt really safe and comfortable that the dental office took all measures to ensure the safety of our family and the individuals who work in the office. Update: after my review, Ashley the manager was very professional about everything and reached out to me. They are reimbursing me for the overcharges and will not be charging me over the accustom amount in the future for basic dental services. However I will leave my original review here for future customers so it's transparent about their fees. Again, their care is excellent, it's just the fees I had a problem with.

Definitely won't recommend this dental office to family and friends. This dental office charges above the recommended fee guide for services provided - which means that even with coordination of benefits you'll be paying out of pocket even for routine cleaning. This was not communicated to me until a year later and after I already accumulated in excess of $200 in charges for my wife and me. It's clear the intent here is to max out your insurance coverage and obtain the maximum payout from the insurance provider for each visit. There's nothing I've observed through my time here which justifies such

I've been going to DSK dental for more than 5 years. I highly recommend this place to all my friends. The staff are professional and friendly. Karen, the receptionist, is very kind and friendly. She does all the insurance paperwork and makes everything easier for you. Karen makes sure to book your appointment at your most convenient time with the hygienist you want. She always has a beautiful smile on her face! My hygienist is THE BEST! My 6 yr old daughter and I love her. She takes her time to make sure every single tooth is clean. She explains everything clearly and is VERY honest about everything

Always professional and friendly front desk staff, they follow up regarding appointments consistently. The hygienists are experienced and excellent, not to mention very gentle in their approach. I always jokingly describe it as a spa visit for my teeth because the service is warm, friendly and everyone demonstrates their commitment to the highest level of professional expertise and care for their patients. The staff at DSK Dental are nice. I had my first initial visit after a few years of not attending a dentist and they made me feel comfortable and informed me about the process of my dental health going forward. The only thing about this place is they charge you more than what your benefits cover and won’t inform you about that until the claim goes through which is why I’m giving this place two stars. I have coverage with my benefits plan and they charged me more than what I was covered for when I constantly asked if the treatment was covered under my plan. Why would anyone want to go to a dentist
