Aurora Community Tennis Club
Aurora Community Tennis Club is a non-profit community organization dedicated to providing affordable tennis programs to people of all ages and abilities. We utilize three cushioned courts at McMahon Park. ACTC is located in a very family-oriented neighbourhood where there are many children about. Please use caution and obey posted speed limits & one way signage when traveling to and from the club.
Services
The main purpose of the ACTC rules is to protect your membership interests so that the behaviour of other members does not unduly reduce the enjoyment of your tennis experience. The second purpose is to enable the Club to comply with the terms and conditions of our agreement with the Town of Aurora.
Thanks to the Aurora Historical Society (AHS) for this exhibit of pictures. The ACTC Board was represented on the AHS Pan Am Program Committee that sponsored the Tennis in Canada Exhibit which featured these series of pictures. Flo was a life time member of ACTC. A few years ago, the ACTC Board chose to honour her by creating the Flo Murry Volunteer of the Year Award.
New and renewing members can take advantage of our 2020 pricing below. To be eligible for InterCounty tryouts and House League play you must be a registered member. Members who are interested in participating in these programs are encouraged to register soon. Mixed House League is made up of doubles tandems that play at an advanced-intermediate level on Monday night, and beginner-intermediate level on Wednesday night.
This year we have introduced a new process to book courts during club hours that can be accessed from your phone, desktop or tablet! Only active members will have access to the system to book courts. Be sure to review our Online Booking System FAQ HERE which includes booking process, rules and penalties for misuse.
We have two goals which we strive for in all our tournaments. The first goal emphasizes socializing, fun, sharing food, meeting new members and enjoying play with a wide cross section of members. The second goal emphasizes the enjoyment of competitive tennis under tournament conditions. The "competitive" tournaments are organized for members to enjoy some competitive tennis.

Beautiful venue for summer tennis in Aurora, Ontario...
It's a nice cozy community tennis kind of place with all the attached disadvantages of being such a place...
Being such a mighty busy tennis location since there are only 3 courts.

Three lit courts. The problem with the courts are they are too close together. Have to walk sideways between courts to change enda

Three courts in great shape surrounded by windbreakers. New LED lights will be installed very soon. One of the 3 courts can be used for pickleball. Plenty of parking plus a club house with clean washrooms.
LED lights already installed.
