Newmarket Community Tennis Club (NCTC) was founded in 1946. The club is a Not-For-Profit organization which aims to promote tennis, good sportsmanship, and community spirit. We are constantly striving to improve our club programs and facilities. With this in mind, NCTC became incorporated in 2013 and was awarded a Trillium grant of $33,000 for 2015.

NCTC is run by a dedicated group of volunteers. We offer a wide range of lessons, programs and leagues for all levels and ages. We are recognized for our fantastic Junior program and, as a result of this, are able to send 1-3 Juniors per year on scholarship programs both in Canada and the Unites States.
Services
Brian Draxl has been the head pro for NCTC since 1995. He played for the University of Toledo on a tennis scholarship. He was ranked #1 in Ontario for the over 35, over 40 and over 45 division; and was the over 45 National Singles champion in 2011. He is certified by the Ontario Tennis Association and Tennis Professionals Association.
Summer tennis begins in May and continues until the end of September. Six courts are available at the Keith Davis Tennis Center (off Main Street) behind the Community Center. There are nearby washrooms at the Community Center, for those who play during times when the clubhouse is not open. Juniors have priority weekdays from 4:00-6:30pm, and adults have priority after those times until 11:00pm.

Great place to play tennis, in a nice quiet corner of downtown Newmarket. The Friday and Sunday night drop in are a great way to meet new people and play some fun tennis. The Pros at the clubs are great. The Junior development program is one of the best. Played here for over 20 years.

An excellent local facility with 3 courts under a bubble and 6 courts in the summer. Cold winter days are cold in the bubble. Suitable for club level players.

Great winter option for tennis. They bubble three courts for the winter accessible from the permanent, albeit small clubhouse.
Courts are hard courts with decent lighting. Ample parking surrounds the facility.
