Do you permit the use of cannabis in your apartments? Although Cannabis is being legalized, City Centre Property Management does not allow smoking or growing Cannabis in any of our buildings, both recreationally or medically. Are pets allowed? We will accept a house cat that has proof of being spayed or neutered, declawed or soft-pawed, and all shots up to date.

With all the talk of horrible property management companies and landlords in HRM recently, I have to say that in my long experience with them, CCPM is actually a pretty good company overall. They can be a little inflexible at times, but I've never known them to be greedy and they do respond to most issues in a timely manner.

I worked for this company for 6 years, I left due to stress during covid, I recently tried to rent a townhouse from them and they acted like they didn’t know who I was and rejected my application on the basis of too many people, there would have been 6 people in a 2200sqft townhouse with 3 beds and a den also including a recroom and garAge with 2 full baths and 2 half baths. If that’s not big enough for 6 people I don’t know what is. I hate to speak badly of anyone but this was very unprofessional and made me feel like my years of working there amounted to nothing.

PLEASE READ: This company has some wonderful properties. And has some amazing supers working in them, so my issue isn't with the property itself.
I had excitedly applied for a unit at 420 Larry Uteck Blvd. Beautiful building. Would have been perfect after looking for a place to call home for over a year. Which in the end wouldn't be available for another month that I would still take (from a sub-let miscommunication, which is fine). After contacting the company directly, jumping through some hoops trying to reach someone to assist in my inquiries, I finally had a decent conversation with someone

Illegal standards in place surrounding financial and legal practices. Was refused contact information and proof of ownership of the building I was applying to by the subleasing company. Was requested to provide a non-refundable cash deposit for the apartment without the company providing a lease. Was also asked to pay a deposit on a key to the garage without receiving a key to the garage. When I questioned the subleasing and parent leasing companies about their process they became defensive and insisted this is normal practise. We stayed for 2years but when we first took the apartment it was not given to us cleaned and was just painted. After we vacated, we cleaned the house and even washed the carpet which they ripped off immediately and they say it was miscommunication within themselves. They completely took our deposit which was really injustice. Mice are biggest problem there and no one would even care to solve that problem. Helpful team on the ground. They manage icon bay tower and few other towers within Halifax, maybe over 5000 units available for rental within their capabilities. Prices more towards the high end. The designs are modern and gives the impression of luxury, but I would question the quality of the finishing as it might not be above average, generally. Most of their apartments are two bedroom, very little of three bedrooms available.

One of the worst experiences I have had renting. Having lived in their building for almost 3 years, and never giving them a problem I didn't expect to be treated so poorly by them. Was charger 15$ for a bathroom plug that wasn't there when we moved in. It is easy to see why they nickle and dime everyone who moves out.. They built that monstrosity on the Bedford highway, and must be hard up because of it. They also never fixed our windows that used to leak water every time it rained. Please avoid this company at all costs. They will be nice up front, but there are no protections in place if you

We enjoyed our time with City Center Property Management. The apartments are clean and well-maintained, regularly renovated / painted and the grounds are very well maintained. The service from Taylor Woods was friendly and efficient at all times and Super Stacy was a great superintendent. We would highly recommend CCPM and Taylor for a hassle-free rental experience!

The Staff are so lovely. Wouldn't rent with in another company. Molly on the Reception desk is lovely to talk to. Barry, Cathy and Taylor went above and beyond what I expected! So happy with my apartment and how I was taken care of! Thank you to City Centre Property Management for being so AWESOME

I’ve lived in a City Centre Property going on three years. I am so happy with where I live; the amenities, quality in finishes and my view (Icon Bay) is top shelf. Would highly recommended renting one of their buildings.
