I was double charged $132 for a $37 ride. Part of this fee was because it was a wheelchair cab.There is no mention of this fee on their website or social media. When I questioned the customer service I was told all disabled people are aware of this fee.
Under Section 80 of the AODA act it says no business is allowed to charge an extra fee for services to persons with special needs.
I would not recommend this company.

I'm really concerned about the excuses in the lack of communication and the continued tardiness. I came over to this company with the promise that I would recieve neither. Also there is a sanitary and safety concern as one driver expects me to come into contact with his personal mobile device for payment information, I believe the gentleman should offer gloves if I'm required to touch his mobile device for safety and sanitary requirements as directed by the Ministry of Health.

Since Covid I've been hesitant to take any public transportation but recently went back to work & decided to use A1 taxi instead of the bus, they gave me a reasonable flat rate for my nightly trips (I didn't even ask, the dispatcher asked me how much I pay since I'm taking it every night & offered me the discount, with the way things are going economically I was so happy for the extra savings) I'm also really happy to see all the drivers wearing mask & most of them having the taxi shield for added protection. I'm really happy with the service.

Today I got the service from A1 Taxi Brampton through App.After I booked the cab the price shown on app was $ 18 and after I reached the destination the driver said the price is $ 23 .I explained it was overcharge but he said it was the price..PLEASE do not use A1 taxi service is very unpleasant. I had a kind of bad experience with A1 Taxi before as well.I will never never use A1 Taxi

I needed a battery boost so I called A1taxi. in 10 minutes a driver shows all ready to help, unfortunately he didn't have cables long enough, but he promises he will have someone else come by. I didn't think they would send someone else, but guess what? In 5 minutes another driver shows up with a boost station all ready to help. These guys were a real saver!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
I called early morning last week for a cab and asked two questions. How much it would cost me from point A to point B and How long it would take for a cab to get to my location. As i was asking the second question the male dispatcher started to scream at me, saying I ask too many questions and then hung up on me. I was in shock and couldn't believe I was treated like that from a taxi company.
A1 Taxi should definitely take this serious for their business and retrain staff on customer service. A1 Staff should answer Customers question and assist the customer without
