BeaconLight Home Inspection

I had to replace the smoke detectors in my house before I could sell it. Once I hired them, they took care of everything. They replaced them all and set up an appointment with the fire department for the inspection. BeaconLight Home Inspection did a great job!

John from BeaconLight Home Inspection was very professional and thorough with the home inspection. He arrived early and started in taking pictures of the outside of the property. During the inspection, John pointed out items that needed attention. He often stopped to ask if I had any questions. The report was emailed to me the same day. It was very detailed and professional with many pictures pointing out what was good, marginal or needs replacement. The pictures were my key to remembering what John told me during the walk through. We worked with Norman and he was wonderful. He spent a long time with us, looking both at the condo we are purchasing as well as the complex itself. He answered all of our questions and very clearly explained the rating system and process. He caught a few critical things that would have been missed by a less careful inspector. I had a minor issue… accessing my report on the weekend, and I needed it to sign my purchase agreement Monday. I felt bad but had to text Norman that weekend, and he immediately helped me out. Norman from BeaconLight was our inspector. He arrived on time, explained very clearly what he was going to do and spent 3 hours methodically reviewing all aspects of our condominium. He stopped along the way and explained what he was doing and highlighted both things that were done well and things that he would recommend might be improved upon. BeaconLight took care of my buyer condo inspection recently. Phil was great to work with, super responsive. He did a thorough job inside & out at the inspection, was great at explaining what he was seeing, what I would need to be immediately concerned with vs. what I just need to pay attention to. Phil did a great job explaining why certain things need attention, not just saying something needed to be fixed. Turnaround time on the report was quick & it was a very thorough doc with pics to point out his recommendations.

I would highly recommend them for Home Inspections. I had Anthony and his associate come over to the house were purchasing. They spent there time and did such a thorough job of inspecting the house. The company is very professional and gave me a report that was super long and extensive with pictures which was so helpful. Anthony was so nice, is… also an electrician and a firefighter. Phil made the inspection of the in-process new construction we handed him as simple and straight-forward as possible. This included two separate visits and wrapped up with an extremely clear and detailed report that was simple to turn into a punch list for the builder/seller. When quality, knowledge, and experience are most important, I can't recommend Phil/BeaconLight highly enough!
