Stella's Place Assessment
We are the place for young adults (ages 16 to 29) with mental health needs in the Greater Toronto Area. Stella's Place provides free mental health services for young adults ages 16 to 29. We have a holistic menu of programs, including peer support, clinical services, employment support, wellness, art, and recovery programs.

We work to help young adults learn skills, build community and be empowered to manage their own mental health. Young adults serve as partners, not only designing, but also delivering and evaluating our programs. All of our services are free of charge, with many drop-in services that can be accessed day of.
Services
The Stella's Team is growing as we develop programs and engage young adults as facilitators and Peer Ambassadors. We are committed to hiring staff with a diversity of experiences, and assertively hire young adults with lived experience of mental health issues. We have an energetic, compassionate team.
Looking for some employment help? Lisa Baker is our resident pre-employment specialist, joining us from the YMCA. Lisa is welcoming, non-judgmental, friendly, and is committed to meeting folks where they are at. Are you looking to speak to a counsellor and get individual support? Call us on Thursday to book a same day counselling appointment.
Are you between the ages of 16 to 29 and looking for tools to support your mental health journey? You have come to the right place! We offer free mental health services for young adults living in Toronto. Looking critically at how oppression occurs and is resisted between participants and clients. Acknowledging the intrinsic worth of all individuals, whatever their background, preferences or situation.
Peer Ambassadors have lived experience with mental health and recovery, and are trained to provide support to other young adults experiencing mental health challenges. We are announcing an important and impactful change to the Stella's Place program offering. After careful review and and thoughtful consideration, we are launching a Peer Ambassador and Access Counsellor Navigator program.
Where young people can access the care they need to get well, stay well, and stay out of hospital. All under one roof. Your donation will help change the lives of young adults in Toronto who are struggling with mental health challenges as Ian did, and keep the memory of his bright spirit alive. From art auctions to webinars, from golf tournaments to Twitch gaming, there are many ways to fundraise!

A great little space. It is very welcoming to anyone from all walks of life, and staff is very respectful. They cater and aid those who struggle with mental illness in a professional, compassionate way. Their group spaces and programs are ones that I have enjoyed. They have a comfy waiting area and a tiny kitchen in the back, where there is coffee and tea available. A great resource!

In simple terms Id call it an adult day care. Don't let that deter you though, the safe spaces and unconditional high regard that everyone has there makes it truly wonderful. Its a good path to start towards your regiment of inner self healing.

I love this place! It's a little hard to find because it's on a small street just off Spadina, but other than that it's a great space and mental health resource.
