Loved this place because of how close it was to home and how convenient it was to get prescription food for my cat regularly given having no transportation, staff seemed friendly and I was willing to change vets when they finally opened up registrations again. However today I called them to confirm for food as I do every other week and was rudely told that they need the food for actual customers. I informed them that that would have been fine but i actually had run out of food completely and my vet is closed as with most vets by the time I bus to them and my cat will have no food for the day. We have always had an excellent experience at Buck. Through two dogs and a variety of incidents they've always been helpful, sympathetic and professional. I could not think of taking our dog to another Vet other than Buck.

Constantly provided conflicting vaccine information. It's up to the pet owner to research vaccine frequency and keep track of the schedule themselves. As a first time dog owner, we were hoping our vet would provide this expertise but instead we've had issues with groomers, kennels turning our pooch away due to vaccine lapses (despite doing our best to keep her appropriately vax'd). Had to change vets, very frustrating.

Had to deal with them as I was shipping my daughters dog to Germany to her so needed paperwork, microchip, scan etc. They were wonderful, very helpful and went above with customer service. Special thanks to Emily and Samantha! I would highly recommend this vet if you live in Waterloo

Always give excellent service to your dogs. However, it's a little expensive. I had to do some of the tests, which aren't mandatory but suggested by the vet, so I did because you love your dogs, but when they gave me the bill, it was around 700$. They didn't mention it would be this expensive also they didn't call me back to tell me the result.

Great vet. They care and are not just there for the money. When I was in distress because there was something wrong with Diego's eyes a while back, they provided curbside service during evening hours and provided courteous advice and concern. It did turn out alright just as the good Doctor said it would. #DiegoApproved

Despite CoViD, the annual checkup and vaccinations for our cat again went extremely. Dr Jessica Yenssen is very professional, competent, kind, caring, and friendly. We feel we can trust her completely to look after our sweet little furry girl. All the staff are so nice to us and treat us very well. This has been true for many years. We have been with Buck Animal Hospital since 1978. 😻

Amazing front desk team, so organized and professional. They take the stress away knowing they'll figure out either the quickest appointment or follow up on care. My dogs love seeing them.
The Vets are great too, you can really trust them to tell you all the options so you can choose what's right for your pet and your pocketbook.
