Every year my mom gives me 2 $50 way spa gift cards for both my birthday and Christmas. I had a $60 pedicure at a spa that honored the wayspa gift cards. They informed that I would need to use both of the gift cards to pay for the service and they would issue me a $40 gift card that I could use for a future service. When I called to book anther appointment I discovered that the spa had closed. The spa was still listed on the wayspa website. I called wayspa and explained what happened and informed that they had a spa listed on their website that was no longer is business. Given that I have been

I have the same issue as many of the other reviews. I was given a gift certificate for mothers day but apparently there is no funds attached and after multiple calls to customer support all they can tell me is the gift certificate number doesn't show on their end. I'm sure this is not what the purchaser had in mind when they spent $600 on gifts that no one can actually use! I've opened a case by emailing but if this isn't resolved asap the purchaser will have to take action through their credit card company.

Do not buy their gift cards! I purchased $50 gift card as a Christmas gift. Receiver went for massage and was told that there is no credit on it. The receptionist at spa called Wayspa and they said that it the money was refunded but they never bothered sending me an email informing of that. Very unpleasant experience.

I will never use WaySpa again. I bought my Mom a gift certificate. When she went to redeem it, it was invalid. This is of course, after she received the spa service. My poor Mom had to call me at work to look into the matter. It turned out they never put the payment through. They had emailed the gift certificate and I had given that to my mother, but they never contacted me to let me know there was an issue with payment. I do not know what the issue was, as the funds were available. Perhaps I entered the number wrong? Anyway, an email letting me know there was a problem should have been issued

I received a gift card for my birthday and five or six days later went to use it at a spa and it was refused. I called the WaySpa customer service from the spa, after my massage, and the agent could not help at all. I asked him what I was supposed to do to settle the bill at the spa and he just told me to pay myself. He said he'd leave a message at head office for someone to call me back, which never happened. I then spent weeks trying to reach someone at "head office" (which I think is actually just a cardboard box in a parking lot in North York) and was sent in circles literally tens of times

I bought a WaySpa gift certificate for my girlfriend and I and I presented it at the spa after our massage. The code would not work. I called WaySpa customer service from the spa to fix the problem and all they could do was tell me to pay with my own money and that they would put forward a complaint to head office for somebody to call me back within 24 business hours. I received another certificate by e-mail, but no call from customer service about how I wanted to proceed. I wished to be refunded for the amount I paid plus a gift card for the amount I was suppose to save by using WaySpa. Instead
