When we started bringing our dog to North Shore Vets when he was a puppy, we initially had a lovely first experience, even though the clinic was clearly adapting to COVID-19 related changes. That being said, our experience changed drastically once our dog was actually ill.
Based on other reviews, it does sound like there are some wonderful doctor's at the clinic who are caring, consistent, and knowledgable. However, our experience was anything but this, and we have actually made the decision to move care to another clinic entirely.
Our 1 year old dog was quite sick, and we were able to get a

UPDATED REVIEW
Immediately after my initial review, the clinic reached out to me to discuss my concerns. They were considerate and professional and not only acknowledged by hesitation but went beyond my expectations to accommodate my dog, including outdoor exams and consults as well as having one of their techs who is Fear Free certified apart of my dogs Care plan. My dog underwent surgery and the following week the tech, the vet and the clinic manager all followed up with me on my dogs recovery and how I felt. Although our initial experience was not great, I am very impressed with their ability

We visited Dr. Jessica Lam per recommendation from our friend and we were beyond impressed by Dr. Lam’s knowledge and care. Our dog had an issue with his eyes - we visited other vets about it but all of them brushed it off as if it was normal. Dr. Lam is very attentive and caring - When we spoke to Dr. Lam about our concerns, we finally felt like we were being heard. We showed her before and after pictures to explain to her what was going on. Some tests were done to ensure the proper treatment could be used. Our dog is now recovering very well and it’s all thanks to Dr. Lam! I would definitely

Update (Sept 2021): Over the past few months, the team at North Shore Vet Clinic has been exceptional, walking us through the best approach for our cats. We discussed sedation protocols and crate training, all of which have proved successful. Today, we finally had our visit and it was a success! We were greeted warmly and supported by a staff member trained in 'Fear Free' to help with our cat's anxiety. Due to COVID, we couldn't enter the clinic, but the appointment was quick and uneventful. The vet called soon after with a quick review - clean bill of health! We want to thank everyone at North

Had the best experience so far. The doctor came outside to talk to me and spend quite some time trying to figure out what’s happening with my puppy! Felt comfortable and part of the process. Highly recommend this clinic.

My dog Ziggy sees Dr. Jessica Lam for everything! I love how Dr. Lam is has a lot of experiences with small animals. She is caring and loving towards Ziggy and that is the most important. Not only she's skillful and careful with his tiny body (trust me, when you have a small dog those are important traits to have) she's also really into the animals, I can see the joy she has when she sees them. I don't trust anyone with Ziggy, so are my friends with small animals. We all travels from all over the city to see her!

I’ve been bringing my dogs here for 7 years now and have sung the praises of this vet clinic and referred everyone I know to them in that period. I’ve always felt my boys have been given the best care, that I knew the staff and they knew us well. It very much felt like a family physician style
Unfortunately enter stage left Covid. Everyone and their mom got a pet so I get that they’ve become extremely busy but I feel that the service level has changed completely.
I don’t know who any of the vets are anymore, am not allowed in the room so have zero idea of what kind of treatment they’re

I called this clinic as my own clinic turned me down when my dog accidently ate a peach pit (then again, she's a Lab; it was waiting to happen in Peach season). I called, they were quick and helpful offering their service as a walk-in.
They took great care of my Stella, and she came out happy as a clam (only a lab would do that after induced vomiting) thank you so much :) I really appreciate you taking the time to see her right away!
