It is very important for your pet to have routine wellness check-ups at least once a year. Seeing a veterinarian regularly gives your veterinarian better understanding of your pet's personality & habits and it will also help your pet to feel at ease during visits to the veterinarian. The veterinarian will perform a comprehensive examination of your pet in a friendly manner, and will ask about your pet's behavior at home.

After regular business hours, no veterinarian is present at the hospital. All phone calls after business hour will be transferred to one of the Veterinarian's cell phones. For non-emergency calls please leave a brief message, your name, your pet's name, and your phone number. We will call you back on our next business day.

Dr Misako has done such a great job helping our 18 year old cat that has hyperthyroidism and kidney disease. We really trust her advice and appreciate the care and attention she gives. You can tell she really loves animals. Our other cat who has extreme anxiety loves going to see her too for his lion cuts. Best vet we have ever been to.

Drove over an hour for this place. Been looking for a doctor that spoke Japanese and was extremely satisfied to say the least. Dr. Masako took her time to answer all of our concerns and the experience was above expectations. Glad to say we've found our new go-to vet!

Whatever you do DO NOT send your pet to West Vancouver Veterinary Hospital. This is now the second time I had to argue with the vet to provide us with proof of medication administered. She administers medication to our Dog Willow but then refuses to provide proof that it was actually administered. They clearly show us at time of visit but for travel purposes we require the documents. This has happened not once but twice now. She will argue with you for 20 minutes and come up with all sorts of excuses as to why she won't do it. None of them logical or ethical. This is the worst experience of my

Where to begin. Dr Sandhu and his team were so kind, compassionate and caring to our 2 year old German Shepherd Ember while she battled renal dysplasia during the pandemic. I always felt that we were given appropriate options and at the centre of his recommendations were her well-being and quality of life. We are so appreciative that you handled her reactivity and separation anxiety while trying to treat a complicated medical issue. The doctors here are so kind and caring. They really do love animals. Prices are the good, and they don't try to make you buy things when it's not needed. I always call in when my dog feels sick and they listen to me very carefully and provide great advice on what to monitor for the next few hours before going to the vet in person. High integrity and caring vet. Highly recommend to anyone.

Dr. Sandhu is one of the kindest and most compassionate vets I have ever met. I brought two of my beloved pets in here on two separate occasions to be put down which is always a difficult situation, but Dr. Sandhu helped make it easier. You can tell that he loves what he does and really cares about all animals.
