Dr. Cara attended the University of Manitoba where she completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences. She was accepted to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with her Doctorate in 2006. Her enthusiasm for veterinary medicine is driven by the human-animal bond; the positive effect that loving, furry, feathered and scaled family members can have on our lives.
Her interests include preventative medicine, surgery and dentistry. She has a personal soft spot for increasing the quality of life in the aging pet population. In her free time, Dr. Cara enjoys spending time with her young son Nate, their dog, two cats, and a bearded dragon, Wilfred. Cara is looking forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members!

Services
Exams are recommended on all pets at least once per year. Our veterinarians will perform a hands-on examination assessing eyes, ears, mouth/teeth, lymph nodes, heart, lungs, abdominal organs, joints, and skin. The examination, along with a thorough history provided by you (day to day activities, travel, exposure to other animals, hunting behaviors, etc.), will provide information allowing us to develop a health plan specific to your pet.
