This is a clean, well-run, no-nonsense nail place. All the techs I've had have been friendly and skilled. Can't complain about a thing. Shaping, painting, etc., have all been done really well. My friends' nails and toes have all come out nicely as well. $76 for a shellac mani-pedi is a good deal these days, as well. Would absolutely recommend.

I shall begin my review with the following disclaimer: I have only ever had my nails done at a proper spa prior to this visit, and had never been to a stand-alone nail salon. My usual spa is located in a hotel and offers impeccable service, superior hygiene practices, and zen-like ambience. That is to say, I may have been spoiled.

In desperate need of a quick toe polish change and strapped for time, I decided to give Mani Pedi Spa a chance because: (a) it's in the neighbourhood; and (b) it appears to be very popular. The person who answered the phone when I called to request a last-minute

Terrible. I had a good first experience here, and then when I went back, absolutely horrible. My manicurist tried to charge me an extra $5 for a third coat of shellac for a standard shellac manicure even though I could still see my own nail through two coats. When I asked her to do a third coat because I could still see my own natural nail through two, she said "looks good to me" and then through her mask, she apparently told me it would be an extra $5, which I never heard her say. I have never had this issue anywhere else, and if the colour selected ever required three coats, it&apos

I used to get my nails done here but have since moved on -- like a lot of the other reviews say, it's a very busy environment and so it isn't a relaxing experience AT ALL. I stopped going when I went in to have my regular mani/pedi and also wanted to have my legs waxed and armpits-- they told me they would to the waxing after, which they did and I ended up completely raw. The woman who did it seemed very inexperienced and had to call someone else in to help her get the gobs of wax on that she had clearly over-applied and was burning my skin. I have had a lot of waxing done and I have

Finally had the opportunity to drop by at ManiPedi for the first time after passing by it for years - I am no where near disappointed!

Walked in shortly after they opened and there were already 4 people inside, which tells you just how popular they are. However, that didn't stop them from fitting me in to do a shellac mani pedi.

I very seldom get a mani pedi, so please forgive me if your opinion differs from mine in terms of their colour selection, but I'd they have over 100 colours for shellac which was overwhelming but nice because there's something for everyone for every season

Pretty disappointed with my service. I had a full SNS powder set done with a woman named Tu. I told her repeatedly that I'm sensitive to the drill (used for nail extensions) and she was really rough with me. Also, at the beginning of the appt I showed her a design I wanted and she said she could do it. Once she went to do it, she told me she didn't know how. I also pointed out a seriously crooked nail that she said she'd fix and never did. Now I'm left with nails that I paid $60 for that I really hate because they look like I'm going to grade 8 graduation.

Run. Run far and fast away from this salon.

The staff is rude, most of all Michelle. Michelle chews her gum then cracks it in your face!

I booked myself and 3 others in for dip nails - $50 each + $1 for the nail files. Lee missed the last step on more than one nail for one of us. Another's nails were cracking within 4 days! My nails started cracking within 5 days! The first chance I had to go back was 8 days after my dip nail manicure. The owner, John, tried to send me away because the girl who did dip nails was busy. Seriously?!? This is your business. Don't make your problems my

Good place for the convenience of staying open late ! Also great as there's always parking on the summer hill bridge one street north of their location. The spa itself is busy busy busy and even with an appointment expect to wait. They have a lot of colour selections but keep in mind if you're getting bio gel nails , they don't actually have bio gel colour you will have to get shellac on top. A toe nail polish change is about $13 and with the bio gel nails and shellac I believe it came to just above $70. Overall it's better than the nail place across the road and cleaner than

If spa is a place where you relax in quiet; this place isn't one of them. It is way too loud, not because it is crowded but cuz the staff is constantly yelling across the room to each other. There is always some running around, which I found a bit overwhelming.

My mani pedi was a nice job but maybe a bit too slow, almost 2h.

The girls are chatting in their native language and giggling all the time staring at your blank face. I don't mind the native language part but giggling and staring didn't make me feel good.

Accepts walk-ins.
Cash payment is tax free

Overall they did a good job but nothing that stands out. They seemed to be in a hurry the whole time , especially while waxing.
They have good colour options.

Came on a Thursday around 4. It was already packed but they still squeezed me in immediately.

I got the SNS organic nails (powder dip nails), done by Nancy. She was very fast, especially compared to the last salon I went to, and a million times better.

I am very happy with the results and will be sticking with this salon indefinitely.

Had a wonderful visit about two weeks ago. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon so naturally the place was quite full, but they seated me immediately.
I got a French shellac manicure done by Tina and she was super friendly. She would check in at intervals to see how I felt about how my nails were looking and taught me a bunch of words in Vietnamese as we were chatting too.
Pricing is quite reasonable and service was good. Only downside is it is so crammed and loud in there- I'll definitely go on a weekday next time. Being there when it's busy feels like you're being herded around

If you're looking for your first shellac experience, this is the place!
I was looking for something in the area and noticed it was right across the street from another appointment.
I was promptly greeted by a friendly young miss who guided me to choose a colour. My manicurist, Vivian, was a kind, soft spoken woman who greeted me with a wonderful smile. She is meticulously brilliant at her craft, asking several times if I approved of her work.
I'm a sucker for a good nearly-white polish and Vivian delivered. My shellac mani was worth the $25 dollars.
The salon was very clean, bright

Great service and GREAT workmanship. Ladies, if you're going to pay for a shellac Manicure you NEED to go here. I've had manicured by both May and Michelle and they were both incredible. Gorgeous cuticle work, and the polish itself literally would NOT come off! I had to come 3 weeks later to have it removed (which I LOVE as this is what shellac is supposed to be!!)

The price is fairly typical for the Summerhill area (about $35), and I admit that the decor of the place isn't necessarily "modern" or "super fresh and trendy", but the quality of the work is 100%

The best place to get your manicure or extensions in Toronto in my opinion! I got SNS organic powder full set and my nails look so natural and pretty now. I've been to a lot of nail salons in Toronto, but the best result and service I definitely got at Mani Pedi Spa.
