We are located on Center Street in the Thornhill, Vaughan area, which is one of Toronto's oldest and most vibrant suburbs. The area is named for Benjamin Thorne, a businessman who moved to the area in 1820 and set up a number of businesses including a sawmill, a grist mill and a tannery. Thornhill Veterinary Clinic first opened its doors to the surrounding community in 1950.
All of us at the Thornhill Veterinary Clinic are strong believers in preventive medicine. It is the main reason that companion animals are living longer and healthier lives. As your pets primary care giver, you are the most important part of ensuring the ongoing maintenance of your pets good health.
Our up to date digital technology makes taking x-rays faster, more efficient, and much easier on your pet. Computerized images are much sharper and can be digitally enhanced for more accurate diagnoses. Virtually no developing time is required. This means your pet can go home sooner.
Digital radiology allows these images to be quickly analyzed by our doctors at their work stations or they can be sent online to a board certified radiologist in a matter of moments should further diagnostic consultation be required.

Among the many things we examine during your pet's yearly visit is the health of your pet's mouth. Good oral hygiene is also an important part of preventive medicine. Over time of course, there will be a natural accumulation of tarter on your pet's teeth. A regular brushing regime will lessen the frequency of dental intervention.

I continue to be very affected by how Dr. Berman 'handled' me and "treated" my dying cat last Monday - the things that were said (way too much, that muddied what was crystal clear), and the things that were done (totally unnecessary). And the things not said that absolutely should have been and without prompting on my part.

Some of the most kind, caring and considerate people who truly love animals. I've been a client here for 8 years now and every time I've needed anything they've always been amazing. Dr. Leung even opened up a spot for my two dogs last minute on a busy surgery day to make sure they got the care they needed. I couldn't be more grateful for their amazing service. Dr. Corrigan and Dr. Berman as well as all the office staff are so bright and compassionate as well. Thank you Thornhill Vet Clinic for taking such amazing care of Cindi and Ellie :)

I have been with this clinic since 2006. Dr. Corrigan has shown compassion, kindness, knowledge and a skill set that I have yet to see at any other clinic. He always calls me back promptly when I have questions and had always made himself available when any issues with my dogs occur. I have recommended this clinic to all of my friends and family and they have had wonderful experiences with him to. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone with a dog or a cat.

This clinic is extremely unprofessional and overpriced. I've been taking my dog here for over a year and I have to say they've done an awful job. All they care about it $ and do not respect their patients owners or their animals. The owner dr. Corrigan refused to call me back because he knew that he wasnt going to be able to overcharge me for unnecessary things like he has before to me and other patients of his. I wouldn't recommend this clinic as there are far better and more reasonable clinic in the area. I've personally changed clinic now and would never trust this place again.

Dr. Kevin Corrigan and his staff are always very professional and informative when taking care of Rosie. Thank you for all that you do for us. My little poodle Tess has been Dr. Corrigan's patient since the day I brought her home 2 years ago this past March. We have had some health issues along way and all I can say is THANK YOU to the TVC team.
Their professionalism is beyond compare when it came to determining what the issues with Tess were. She was recently spayed in February and I'm happy to report she is doing wonderful. COVID has really thrown a wrench into everyone's lives, and Dr. Corrigan, Dr. Berman, Dr. Leung and the Whole team has been there for our furry family members.

I took my cat here today for the first time. Although they were fully booked, the receptionist was very empathetic and she was able to get us in on the same day so our cat could be seen by a vet. He was seen by Dr. Berman who was very attentive and professional. Overall great service from the wonderful staff. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

I sent an email to this vet clinic (their website encourages communication via email, since it is posted in their contact information) in December, regarding the prices for puppy vaccines. It wasn't long until I received an email response (not automated) that they were too busy to respond to emails and that I should call instead. I knew it wasn't an automated response because the email mentioned what I was inquiring about. I replied that I wasn't in a rush, and didn't mind waiting for an email response.

Dr. Leung and all the staff at Thornhill Veterinary Clinic are amazing! They are so knowledgeable and loving when it comes to our little puppy Teddy (even though he can sometimes be a handful!). During every visit, they take the time to answer all our questions and concerns. They go the extra mile every time, whether it be explaining different vaccinations, calling in to check up on Teddy when he is unwell or simply providing helpful suggestions for us new puppy owners. Even after several vaccinations, Teddy is always so excited to return and we are always welcomed with big smiles from the staff
